Full Version: Is This A Resteal?

I need to learn how to re-steal. I don't think I have ever re-raised a late position open raise unless I felt the hand had raising value (AK, QQ, etc). In the last few weeks I have read 3 times the excellent thread on re-stealing, so I am aware of the move, but need some more work before I try it.

Now onto the hand in question; final table of the Golf Tournament weekend, and the table is full of good players, and I am now in 4th position of 6 remaining. I have not had a real hand for about 6 orbits, but have been able to tread water with 3 successful steals until this hand comes along…

no way is this a spot for a resteal. Hes risked nearly 60% of his stack and you have no fold equity unless hes a complete donk.

most of the time when someone re-raises you less than all in when they should just go all in its AA or KK.
