So did I make any sense with my post? Did I help make a clearer case or just more delusion?
Edit: My work friend gave me 5 to 1 a month ago or so that Everton would not beat United today. Come on Everton!!
Yeah, I just wanted to hear what you thought was the actual problem... rather than 'I think we're better than 14 teams in the Premiership'. So, good post! I also think you'll find a way to stay up, in all honesty. Win those home games and you'll be fine, even if you lose both away. Obv I'll be a huge Newcastle fan myself when you play Liverpool!
Doubt your friend would've given you those odds if he'd seen United's team sheet for today.

Unlucky, I definitely wanted to see Man U and Chelsea in the final. Not complaining about the 50 euro of course, although hes claiming we made a penalty clause. We have to ask our 3rd party, who is the one who remembered we made the bet in the first place so he should trustworthy

I agree with Ferguson's team selection today, all things considered... no complaints there.
I was impressed with the Da Silva twins, Gibson worked hard too, and Macheda and Wellbeck did all that could have been asked of them (Wellbeck is slightly one footed, but he's improving and def one for the future). Anderson had a good game, Vidic and Ferdinand as usual were excellent.
The only thing that pissed me off like you can't believe was ****ing Berbatov's penalty. I've got no complaints about losing a penalty shoot-out but I mean, what the hell was he doing? He's not having a kick around in the back garden with his son, just passing it back so he can save it!! He's in the FA Cup semi-final, getting paid 90k a week. Please.. no one try to defend him either, it was a disgraceful moment.. thx.
Good luck to Everton, well played.

To be fair if it had went in no-one would have said anything. I took a penalty like that once. I barely hit it but the ball went right and keeper went left and it rolled in. It did look cool but I would have taken some stick if I had missed.

Wenger needs to go out and buy 2 new 1st XI centre backs - at least 2 of the liverpool goals were a direct result of the two centre backs being awful. A new goalie would be good too. Give us those things and we should compete for the title next year.

Doesn't matter how good the center backs are, they still don't get any protection from the midfield. Arshavin is no doubt a quality player but you can't accuse any Arsenal team of the last 10 years of lacking quality attacking players. The question is always do they fancy it on a wet, sticky pitch in January at Blackburn/Bolton/Somewhere up North?

the truly LOL part of this was that Man U could have easily had 6 or 7 goals in the 2nd half. It was like adults playing against kids. Spurs 2nd half defense......I would call it a sieve but that's mean to sieves.

If beating Boro is our only points, we need Hull to lose every game including the one tonight. I'm not optimistic against Fulham(bear in mind I watch most of our matches) and Middlesborough could even be a draw.
I like the idea of 3 man attack but we have no midfield to supply them. Obviously we are a bit unlucky having to play Duff as full-back due to injuries. Jonas should be on the pitch, hes a workhorse and like martins can create something for nothing.
Our goal difference was a huge advantage but Liverpool took care of that.
I have no confidence in us right now but I hope James uncanny predictions come through, LBJ make a bet with him! We can't lose then

HUGE Game tonight. Looking at the fixtures we are good to get out of this hole if we beat Middelsborough. But only if we beat them. West Brom are somehow on the same points but their next game is Liverpool so I think we can count them out.
If we beat Middlesborough, from looking at the fixtures, even a point from a possible 6 could save us.
Just not so confident of beating Middelsborough, we have no midfield of late and I reckon Boro want it more. Not more than Alan Shearer but more than our starting 11.

No Sir... if you beat Middleborough, that would most likely be enough on it's own because of goal difference. I can't see Hull getting any points from Bolton away or United (I guess you're wanting us to slip up against Wigan or Arsenal really, so we hammer Hull on the last day).
So, I really think you'll finally win a home game tonight. Games between you two are usually very tight (you've drawn your last 4), but I can see a 2-0 win for Newcastle tonight. Also, good news for you is how terrible Middleborough's away form is (lost 11 of their last 13).
