So, can we talk about how digusting Crouch has been for England lately?

Hopefully, it'll translate to more success at the club level. He's my only hope until the rest of my forwards on my fantasy team get off suspension (Rooney) or become uninjured (Kitson).

Big day today: Merseyside Derby. Should be a good test for both teams.

Edit: Kudos to Everton. And as much as he is loved, I don't understand starting Fowler. The one good thing about starting him was that the announcers brought up the 2000 derby at Goodison, easily the most entertaining EPL match I've ever seen. 3-2 final (I think), Igor Biscan sent off, Fowler missed a penalty, Babbel scored after running about 80 yards after a penalty clearance and the winning goal scored in injury time on a 40-yard free kigk by Gary McAlliaster (which probably should've been a 50 yard free kick). (Now former) Referree Jeff Winter lost complete control in the most emotionally-charged match possible.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA LIVERPOOL GETTING PWNED BY EVERTON, BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Well it looks like Portsmouth, ManU, and Everton are the only 3 teams that decided to be consistent this season. We don't even really have consistent losers at this point. My weekly prediction pool is currently the bane of my existence.

Arsenal puls out the upset late to beat ManU 1-0. Pretty good game. Just glad to see a goal since yesterdays games both finished 0-0. smile.gif

damn, Fullham tied. they would have moved up to 4th with a win.

Two games in a row (C-League midweek and today) Gerrard has missed on solid chances to score his trademark big goal.

Maybe Rooney should've stayed on the bench. 0-1 at Old Trafford to winless Arsenal? Goo.

has anyone here bought one of thos packages which u can watch the EPL and all the European games online. Im in the US and i dont get any games here except the 2 Cham. LEague games that are on ESPN every week and i wanted to know before i spend like $6 if it actually works. Its not the money but the principle that i dont want to be scammed. So..

I wasn't really ready to accept that Portsmouth has a chance to make Europe if they keep playing the ball they're playing now. The teams they've beat are meh.

Until I looked at the stats and realized, they haven't allowed a goal. Not one. In 5 games.

Sick for the EPL. Sick.

I watched that ManU/Arsenal game. Sweet game.

If Rooney didn't play like crap things would've been much different. But what is really important is that I NOW HAVE FSC, I NOW HAVE FSC WOOT WOOT WOOT. God I can't wait to move out again

The Newcastle/Everton Game was by far the most entertaining game I saw this week. That Rossi kid looked good for the 10 minutes he played.

we need him. so badly.

Hey, and wank off Reading. They are by far one of the best to come out of the Coca-Cola in a while. They're supposed to not lose at home.

I do. Van Persie's goal against charlton was amazing. FSC's English Soccer Review show (on every Sunday night) might be the greatest thing since sliced bread. I can actually keep up on the Premier League with minimal effort now.

Definately. I love that channel and now that I got DVR on Tuesday I love it even more.

I have been staying away from any news on the Fulham/Watford game since I knew it was going to be on FSC (first Fulham game this season) and recorded it yesterday afternoon and watched it when I got home. I was pretty disappointed come the 2nd half when Watford made it 2-0. Bah! How can you lose to Watford?? Then McBride scored and then Helguson scored to tie it up. Sweet! Then an own goal to take the lead with I think 6 minutes left. BAh! Then Ashley had an awesome goal for Watford that tied it up. But it turned out to be a great game overall, though a win for Fulham would have put them back in the top half.

ManU keeps on charging on. I can't wait til Alan Smith finally makes it back fully healthy, that'll be like getting a new player

as far as all of the liverpool fans trying to pump up their team earlier this season, bwahahahahahahahahaha

Man U is gonna pwn all this season. We've now got Solksjaer back to his good old form and there's no one else you'd want as a substitute in the 85th minute when the game is tied.

Prediction: Man U will win Premiership and reach semis of Champions League.

Wenger versus Pardew. Clash of the titans.

Arsene Wenger makes a statement

"I was disgusted at the treatment we received at West Ham. Our players
are used to playing in a quiet, respectful atmosphere in which we can
discuss tactics, compare our nice gloves, and scream loudly to let the
referee know we've been tackled and need a free kick.

The atmosphere at Upton Park was little short of hostile. The opposing
fans sang, shouted and cheered in a manner we are not used to. Almost
all of them stayed for the whole game, too. This was strange to us; it
doesn't happen back at the Al Qaeda Stadium.

In addition, our bag man left the team's glove bag back at Cashburden
Grove, meaning that many of our players were playing with cold hands,
and some of them cried.

My dispute with Alan Pardew was over his comments following their goal.
"Did you see that?" he shouted. This was insulting. He must know that I
see NOTHING on the pitch, unless it is a poor decision against Arsenal.
And I am NOT a 'Cheese Eating Surrender Monkey', whoever said that..
."

So i go to watch some games on Saturday and FSC is now a pay station. Why? How can you have something available for so long and then one day ask people to pay extra for it. Grrrr.

Yeah on my Comcast it is too....but it is only 2 bucks a month extra. Well worth just for the Barclay's highlight show on sunday nights.

Soccer content: Garrard is finally on the board. Sweeeet. Now if they could just play well on the road.....

u damnn right, and get the big ones

show is top notch, i love the no non-sense approach of the show and gasp! u see good plays despite the outcome, meaning despite a striker missing the net u will see the excellent pass that set up the shot,

Newcastle really sucks this year....They need a new manager and some players that are not so injury prone. They will be luck to survive the drop this year.

I think when it's all said and done, the "Big 4" (Man U, Chelsea, Liverpool, and Arsenal) will be at the top of the table. Portsmouth has been surprising and could make a run at it if Liverpool continues their terrible road form.

Yet you're only 3 points ahead of us. Arsenal are the bimbo of the premier league. They look nice, but they're not much use in the end. They're a toy team biggrin.gif

I guess that makes me a regular hugh fkn hefner then! hoorah!

With a game at hand against Wigan, enjoy your struggle to stay in top half! Arsenal is having a bad season yet we're still third.

Oh, have fun in the UEFA Cup btw! icon_dance.gif

Arsenal are not the same when Thierry Henry is sidelined. Losing a player of his caliber.....well thats what happens.

I love the charge Liverpool is making. Scoring in bunches!! Gerrard finally looks himself again. You'll Never Walk Alone!!!!!

Best time of the year for a premiership fan. 4 games in 10 days. After this period we will really see if anyone will be able to challenge Chlesea and Man U. Also, what teams are going to climb out of the relegation battle and which ones are going to slip in.

Yeah, what a great time. Just saw Arjen Robben save the day for Chelsea against Watford. Just a great match and a superior finish in stoppage time to win. Keeps Chelsea in it for now....
