Villain is 48/14/1 over about 30 hands at the time this went down. In an earlier hand he'd raised the river in position against me after hitting a gutshot to pwn my top pair. That hand was in mind when we played this one.

Terrible river card and I've been running really bad. The thought going through my head was, if there's ever a time to fold AA this is it. But, the pot is big....thoughts?

I know the feeling when you are running bad and even Aces and Kings dont seem to hold up even when you are heads up. But I still think there are enough pp and Qx holdings that you beat to make this call.

You have to make the crying call, but I wouldn't flame for folding.

Easy call, IMO.

His range is huge.
Willenation
Make the call and try not to tilt afterwards.
GoingBusto
Haven't read replies.

Easily the worst card in the deck for you, but I'm calling.

I'd call and then I would probably tilt afterwards.

Nasty card to see on the river.

I'm sure everyone is dying to know what happened here. After thinking for a while and almost timing out I actually folded the hand and the villain showed T icon_suit_heart.gif 4 icon_suit_heart.gif . Amazingly I didn't really go on tilt afterward. I kind of shook it off and moved on.

After reading the responses to this thread I think the fold is horrible and probably only happened because I'd been running bad. Normally I think I call this river bet. An important principle that I didn't think about is that bets like this one rarely mean what they represent.

This makes it sound like you lost, which you wouldn't if he had 104.

I timed out and folded. He showed his hand. I would have won had I had the balls to call. I've been kicking myself ever since and this thread confirmed that calling was correct and I'm a dumbass.
