If you're as big of a freak about The Office like I am, you'll be happy to hear we are just over a month away from a new season of the Office premiering.

For those that want their office fix until Sept. 21st, NBC.com are doing some webisodes involving the accounting department. Some pretty funny stuff in there.

Also, for some great interviews with the office cast, check this site out which links to E!'s Kristen Veche or whatever her name is for some pretty funny interviews.

Office Interviews

I can't wait!
LAS22
Great! This show absolutley cracks me up. Every office in the world has a person they work with who can compare the a character on The Office.
showstopper24
One of the great things about the office is that they got a big A list celebrity like Steve Carrel and then got a bunch of talented no name improvisationists. They are hilarious. laugh.gif
king_tanner
The best one was the Halloween episode where Rainn Wilson's character dressed up as a Sith lord, holy sh_it I think I wet myself.
chester97
can't wait for the office to start. and season 2 comes out on dvd on the 12th. will watch every episode twice before the start of season 3, i'm sure. the leadership boat party was the best episode of last year. can't freakin wait.
oh, and the one where he burned his foot. classic.
showstopper24
The injury is with out a doubt one of the funniest. I downloaded season 2 on dvd and watche them all when i was sick on vacation in about four days.

Thanks for the interview link, ricker. Good stuff.

I've been a little underwhelmed by the webisodes.

Oh, and I finally got around to finishing The Office (UK) tonight. Hilarious stuff...and an excellent ending.
fiftytwo52
Yeah- i didnt start watching the show until the 2nd season and I had to go back and buy season one on itunes because its so freaken hilarious. I hope they dont start to focus on the romance side of the show because it takes precious moments away from the hilarity. But then again, they need the ratings.

'Yeah, that is fantastic.

Last week's emmy's thing was just brilliant too...

"No, I did not have Conan O'Brian fall through the ceiling..."
showstopper24
I love the Pam/Jim love thingy. But everything is funny, especially Dwight trying to be Michael's favorite.
ricker
Last Webisode is coming out today..find out where the money went!

Yeah, I know they're underwhelming, but there are some gems in this one.

Enjoy...
showstopper24
webisodes are great to watch and it makes the gap from season 2 to season 3 feel shorter.
chester97
season 2 out on dvd today. i'll be getting it right after work. love this show.

picked mine up today!

Make sure you get it from Target, Jenna Fischer included a video blog regarding the experience of shooting the "Booze Cruise" episode.
showstopper24
you guys get the really cool one? I got it a best buy. It comes in a small paper container (the boxes that paper comes in) and includes a pen, a pad of paper, sticky notes, and a dwight business card. It comes with a few other things as well and it looks really awesome.

I saw that one, and now I'm having buyers remorse.
showstopper24
id say return that one and get the other but since you have buyers remorse it sounds like you opened it already

my friend was over and dialed a number for me and it was a voice moil of Dwights desk. it was a guy talking about being dwights secretary and that dwight was at a lord of the ring convention.
it was funny but i don't have the number

i love the fake public service announcements too. they were on the website as well. some of them aren't funny at all, which is exactly what makes them funny as a whole.
showstopper24
yes-well put sir, you have to like the comedy to understand it.
Yesterday the casino night episode was on and my friend called be and said he stopped watching within the first five minutes because it wasn't funny. Yet i was cracking up during the first five minutes. you have to apprecitate the comedy.

Just picked up the second season this afternoon. Been watching some of the commentaries and deleted scenes.

What I like about TV deleted scenes is that they're often quite good...they just couldn't fit them into the episode. Compared to deleted scenes from movies (which I like), they're very interesting/entertaining.
showstopper24
i downloaded season 2 about 3 months ago on itunes, so when i bought the dvds, the first thing i did was watched the commentaries

There was one deleted scene from the Boys and Girls Episode, that I just about died laughing at. It's the one where Dwight brings in his potato gun and is aiming it at the sex doll, but misses and shoots out Darryl's office window....

I was crying I was laughing so hard at Darryl's reaction. Oh man, buying the DVD's was worth it just for that deleted scene.

Been watching the season 2 dvd this week. Totally the best show on tv.

Check out my sweet new avatar.

AWESOME AVATAR. I HAVE THE BOBBLEHEAD AND ITS SWEET. ONE OF THE THINGS I LOVE ABOUT THE OFFICE IS THE CHARACTERS WHO AREN'T THE MAIN CHARACTERS. ANYTHING THAT DARRYL DOES IS ABSOLUTLEY HILARIOUS.

jim is still my favourite. some of the stuff he pulls on dwight is awesome. like the whole pot interogation thing.

"i'm just saying, how do you know wasn't you?"
"that's crazy, i didn't do it"
"well i'm just saying pot is a mind-loss drug. how can you be sure?"
"i'm asking the questions here"
"NO, that's not what you said when i came in here. now how much pot did you smoke?!"

that, and putting all of dwight's things in the vending machine, then giving him a bag of nickels to pay for it all.
showstopper24
jim is awesome-he is so hilarious with all the crap he pull son dwight
ricker
Tonight's the night ladies and gents! Season three of the Office!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wooooooooohoooooooooooo
showstopper24
scene that was on leno when carrell was on is so hilarious! you have to watch
showstopper24
the premier was so hilarious-i loved it so much
CobaltBlue
ZOMG!!!!111!

Wow, they really changed a lot. I kind of thought they'd throw a wrench in there to prolong Pam/Jim.

I guess they're kind of implementing the "merge" that the British series did with Jim transferring. They get to introduce a lot of new characters that way.
cuddlemonkey
Very good stuff tonight. Looks to be another stellar season.
Suited_Up
Jim is just flat out the man in this show. Don't care what anyone says.

Calculator in the jello.. and the looks at the camera... awesome!

Oh, and lets not forget Sharper Image, lmfao!! They're sold out! icon_clap.gif

Agreed, I also really like what they did with Roy's character as well. I was satisfied with how they wrapped up the Jim Pam romance for now as well. It seemed exactly like what would happen to real people. Well done.

I love how the guy isn't exasperated about it, but instead goes kinda psycho which is an awesome choice for the writers. Again, something that would really happen, it's uncomfortable and insane and that's what makes it so awesome.
chester97
stanley talking about having 2 toasters was classic. jim being called big tuna, ed helms booting the garbage can and the immediate change in jim's expression was hilarious, and everyone checking out gay porn in the office was creepy but funny. the whole episode was fantastic and the season will be great.

edit:
meredith licking the purell was just gross though. funny, but gross.
Petoria
"Michael, Dwight's looking at gay porn on his computer"

I dont really think anything else needs to be said.
LAS22
By Michael, "look there's Oscar's roomate ________ I wonder if he know's Oscar is gay."

Funniest show on tv!
chester97
that's what she said.......or, what he said.
MDXS
Amazing start to the season. 'Nuff said.
showstopper24
lol-i want to change my signature so it says "thats what she said...or he said."

tooooooooo late....did it earlier this afternoon. I think my schtick for this season of the office is to put a new quote after every new episode.
showstopper24
you will get a lot of good ones because every episode there are a ton of good quotes (normally from michael, dwight, or jim)
