Plan?

Villain has $14 behind. I'm pretty much gettin this allin way ahead, or drawing dead, we cool with gettin it in here no matter what? Or can we c/f? He's too short to b/f, so I'm pretty much committed.

This is not a bad beat story but I pretty much put him on a set or 2 pair when he raise/called. Only thing we beat now is Q9, right?
Flack_attack
I dont think you can c/f here. Getting crazy with AQ maybe? Either way, you said it...you're committed.
trystero
With just $14 behind him, I check and call his push. I don't think you can eliminate Q-J or even K-Q from his holdings. I see a lot of low-limit players making this play with just a queen. Some wouldn't even raise A-Q preflop.

You've got a good hand, it's just $14 to call, so put it in.

You're right about the turn though. Total nightmare.

Im not folding this hand for anything on the turn. Whatd the button do, limp with Q8, 98?
tallytownFSU
I'd use my call faster button again.

Seriously though.

Call.

Oh and btw.

If he has a boat, he's gonna win a monster pot.

I wouldn't suggest that OP fold on the turn. But, people limp with Q8 and 98 on the button all day long at these limits, particularly if they are sooted.

If he has a boat, he's gonna win less than half a buy-in.

Back to OP though, this is a no-brainer. You don't fold straights to short-stacks like this. You should also bet the turn so you get paid when you are ahead.
