you see these guys sometimes, I have one guy that plays 5.3% of his hands after like 1200.

So the ? being do you call the preflop raise to see if you can flop something better than the AA, KK or QQ he is holding and felt them? Because you know they have a quality hand.

I have been doing this with a wide range of hands, suited connectors, gappers, and it is amazing how often they will put the whole stack in on the flop with just one pair.

Yes, these types of players can be your bread and butter. I prefer mostly small pocket pairs against these guys unless there are several other players involved as well, and then I like to add in the suited connectors, etc.

Yup. On GSN High Stakes Daniel tried this against Bob Stupak. Daniel had raised with a small pocket pair and Bob re-raised him; you could tell that Daniel knew Bob had A-A or K-K yet called him anyway after asking him how much was in his stack. Didn't flop a set, checked, and Bob pushed all-in.

that is where I got the idea. I wish DN would have caught that set, that would have been great.

5.3% of flops seen is ridiculous. I'm pretty TAG but I play 13-15...I couldn't imagine someone being 5.3%...someone dead sitting at the table would play 5.3% just from having their BB checked.

If you know 100% that this tight player will get felted for his chips holding AA and KK everytime you outflop him, then yeah. But if he's good enough to lose the min, when beat or let go of the hand, then its not worth "cracking" the dude.

These guys cramp my style.

Usually, people have to smack me because i get FPS when these guys finally play a pot with me.

But I like to see a flop just about every time they raise, because I want to felt them.
