Wait...we're talking about T.O. playing until Dallas goes back in time to win a Super Bowl???

Oh wait..that's right, we're talking about the future..........now I remember.

KC's Super Bowl chances >>>>>>>>>>> Dallas' Super Bowl chances. Don't tell me Bledsoe and Owens is going to work out. It won't..case closed.
The Nuts
Owens will keep quiet so long as the Cowboys keep winning.

The Eagles sucked last year. That's why he was pissed. If he doesn't get the ball a lot and the team still wins, he'll be fine.

Hilarious, you want to compare two teams who didn't make the playoffs last year, one which improved greatly in the offseason and the other who still doesn't know how to play defense. Having the guy who will probably be league MVP probably won't even get you into the playoffs.

Your good at following a conversation aren't you?

Let me recap...

Koop: Makes a comment about how TO would have to play on the Cowboys for the next 40 years to get to the superbowl.

Me: Comment about the Chiefs (Koop's team if you didn't know) not having exactly been to the superbowl anytime recently, this would be giving Koop crap like I normally do.

At this point I am comparing the superbowl histories of KC and Dallas, which over the last 36 years hasn't even included KC because they haven't been there since 1970. Oh, and in the last 16 years Dallas has won 3 superbowls.

The Cowboy's "improved greatly?" Lol..okay...I guess Kansas City didn't..lol..I guess we just stood pat the entire offseason and didn't do anything...oh yeah..that's right, we had like, the 6th ranked rush defense or something last year with young players getting better...added more help there....added this one guy who always gets a lot of INTs to help our pass defense.....but you're right, you say Dallas "improved greatly" by adding T.O or something??

You are a damn fool if you think T.O, Bledslow, and Parcells is ACTUALLY going to work...come on. You know that isn't going to work...and thus my statement that Dallas will never win a Super Bowl with T.O. on their team..it stands.

KC has a great offense, had a good rush defense, has improved it's past defense..they are going to be good. Yeah, we didn't make the playoffs last year, but we were 10-6......and 10-6 is a near lock to make the playoffs just about every single year. KC has a good shot at the playoffs.

You added Ty Law... that guy is a bit old now isn't he? Not saying he won't be a good addition, because they could bring 4 random CFL guys in and improve their secondary, but it's not like he is a probowl caliber player anymore.

TO a weak addition... look at history. Jeff Garcia was considered a good QB when TO was in SF, what has he done since? McNabb had his best year when TO was there, soon as TO was gone, McNabb's numbers were garbage. Like TO or not, baggage or not, he flat out puts up the numbers on the field. If you deny that is fairly ignorant.

Yea KC was 10-6, 1 game out of the playoffs, Dallas was 1 game out of the playoffs too, whats your point?

Yeah, T.O. has had good numbers..no one is saying he hasn't..but again, if you REALLLLLLLLY think that Bledslow, Parcells, and Owens is going to work..then you just flat out aren't looking at your team objectively..you are just being a homer.

Also, no one is saying adding Ty Law is taking us to the Super Bowl. I have not picked us to go to the Super Bowl. But I am saying we have a good shot at the playoffs...because our offense is great, our run defense was good last year, and our pass defense got better. If a 10-6 team that was weak in ONE area last year improves on that area and stays about the same/gets a little better in the other areas..I don't think it is THAT big of a stretch to say they might be a good team.

On the other hand..your team brings in a guy who is infamous for killing teams and not getting along with coaches and QBs...and team him with Drew Bledsoe, a guy who can't avoid pressure worth a crap, and Bill Parcells, probably the most difficult coach to get along with and the most demanding coach...yeah, come on, give me a break. It's going to be a disaster and everyone knows it. T.O. hasn't even started to PRACTICE yet and already the drama is overflowing..don't sit there and tell me they have a chance in hell at the Super Bowl. Be serious here....I'm not saying either team are "favorites" to go to the Super Bowl..but it's very obvious that KC has a much better chance than Dallas with the way the current teams are set-up. T.O. is not going to bring anything to Dallas..just like Randy Moss hasn't done crap and is wasting his career away with Oakland.

TO is 32 years old, this is probably his last shot at a big contract, if he blows up here he is going to have issues getting another big contract at 33. He probably only has 3 more good years if his hamstring doesnt fall apart. TO doesn't really have a choice at this point.

I didn't say KC wasn't going to make the playoffs, I don't think they are a lock for it either. New coach, new system, there are a lot of unknowns in KC that none of you KC fanboys are looking at. Not to mention, the AFC is pretty deep in talent.

The drama is overflowing because the media doesnt shut up about it. TO isn't the only receiver in the league missing practice with a hamstring injury, and you don't here anything about them. It's all media hype trying to create a story even when there isn't one. If you buy into it, your a media puppet.

Oh, and Randy Moss was injured last year too, that might account for his lack of production.

I don't think Dallas is going to the superbowl this year, bacause I think they are probably the 4th best team in the NFC. But I think they are more likely to get there than KC for about a million reasons.

First, NFC is overall weaker than the AFC. For example, last season Dallas lost on the road to Seattle by 3 points a game they nearly won and where a player like TO probably has a huge impact. Something tells me a healthy TO is worth more than 3 points a game, maybe it's the last 10 years of him putting up huge numbers, maybe...

So KC has a decent run defense, the AFC is full of pass happy teams.

Lol....I don't recall ever saying KC was a "lock" to make the playoffs. I said they had a good shot. They went 10-6 in the pretty tough AFC West last year and improved overall and we have LJ for a full year this year. If we win even ONE more game than last year, which is very possible, we are a lock for the playoffs. Therefore, we have a good shot at the playoffs. Funny that you want to talk about the "lot of unknowns that us fanboys don't know about" or whatever...yet you don't even name one..lol, except for "new coach, new system." Yeah, okay, I'm sure you know all about our "new system" and how that will affect our blitzing schemes and run-blocking schemes and alllll that...lol. whatever. Of course there are "unknowns," every team in the history of professional sports has "unknowns" heading into a season. Awesome point genius.

Also, yeah, you're right, all the T.O. team/QB/coach killing..that's all a media creation. Okay. Wow..what a homer. Keep on believing that Parcells and Bledsoe and T.O will work out....I'm sure at the end it won't work out and you'll be "wondering how it went wrong," and thinking you got unlucky...lol.

No one is saying that T.O. being injured is that big of a deal in and of itself...but the fact that Parcells and Owens are already fighting (mildly) about it before T.O. has practiced at all...don't tell me that's not a sign of things to come. Give me a break...have you just not been watching football the past 5 years??? Come on....

Blah blah blah...

So your telling me a new coach who runs things completely differently than the one who was there before isn't going to make some type of difference? I'm sure Vermeil and Edwards do everything exactly the same, nothing will change at all. They have the exact same methods and gameplans. I see you have watched a ton of football the last 5 years too!

Funny thing about that 10-6 record last year, the last 4 weeks of the season you lost two games to the NFC East including the Cowboys. Sorry we kept you out of the playoffs.

As far as TO/Parcells, it's preseason... nothing matters yet. If you think the media aren't hyping this to try and create a bigger story than it is you are a moron. They break down everything the both of them say word for word and try to interject some hidden meaning in everything, I think it's part of ESPN's trifeca now. Baseball Tonight, NFL Live, TO/Parcells chat breakdown. Best hour of sports coverage on tv.

It's pretty bad when the KC fan that makes the most sense here is Koop.
