Yeah, T.O. has had good numbers..no one is saying he hasn't..but again, if you REALLLLLLLLY think that Bledslow, Parcells, and Owens is going to work..then you just flat out aren't looking at your team objectively..you are just being a homer.
TO is 32 years old, this is probably his last shot at a big contract, if he blows up here he is going to have issues getting another big contract at 33. He probably only has 3 more good years if his hamstring doesnt fall apart. TO doesn't really have a choice at this point.

Also, no one is saying adding Ty Law is taking us to the Super Bowl. I have not picked us to go to the Super Bowl. But I am saying we have a good shot at the playoffs...because our offense is great, our run defense was good last year, and our pass defense got better. If a 10-6 team that was weak in ONE area last year improves on that area and stays about the same/gets a little better in the other areas..I don't think it is THAT big of a stretch to say they might be a good team.
I didn't say KC wasn't going to make the playoffs, I don't think they are a lock for it either. New coach, new system, there are a lot of unknowns in KC that none of you KC fanboys are looking at. Not to mention, the AFC is pretty deep in talent.

On the other hand..your team brings in a guy who is infamous for killing teams and not getting along with coaches and QBs...and team him with Drew Bledsoe, a guy who can't avoid pressure worth a crap, and Bill Parcells, probably the most difficult coach to get along with and the most demanding coach...yeah, come on, give me a break. It's going to be a disaster and everyone knows it. T.O. hasn't even started to PRACTICE yet and already the drama is overflowing..don't sit there and tell me they have a chance in hell at the Super Bowl. Be serious here....I'm not saying either team are "favorites" to go to the Super Bowl..but it's very obvious that KC has a much better chance than Dallas with the way the current teams are set-up. T.O. is not going to bring anything to Dallas..just like Randy Moss hasn't done crap and is wasting his career away with Oakland.
The drama is overflowing because the media doesnt shut up about it. TO isn't the only receiver in the league missing practice with a hamstring injury, and you don't here anything about them. It's all media hype trying to create a story even when there isn't one. If you buy into it, your a media puppet.
Oh, and Randy Moss was injured last year too, that might account for his lack of production.
I don't think Dallas is going to the superbowl this year, bacause I think they are probably the 4th best team in the NFC. But I think they are more likely to get there than KC for about a million reasons.
First, NFC is overall weaker than the AFC. For example, last season Dallas lost on the road to Seattle by 3 points a game they nearly won and where a player like TO probably has a huge impact. Something tells me a healthy TO is worth more than 3 points a game, maybe it's the last 10 years of him putting up huge numbers, maybe...
So KC has a decent run defense, the AFC is full of pass happy teams.

when was the last time you watched some pre-game show and one of the guys goes "Well I think Green Bay is gonna beat the Titans today because the Packers won the SB a LONG time ago.
never.
you really good at making an argument huh? The fact that Dallas won 3 superbowl 16 years ago means nothing when it comes to this year's season
Never, but your taking my arguement on a tangent, thanks for showing how well you read. I made my points in follow up posts, keep reading. Your making KK look like a savant.
