I found this hand a bit tricky b/c of my stack size. The max buyin for this game is 100 but most come in between
$50-$60. I have about $31 and Villain about $80. Comments fine on all streets.

looks fine to me, although i might consider checking the turn and taking a free card against more calling stationy players.

i think you should push the river though. you have only ~$20 left, and that's about potsize. i think you're seeing 78 a lot here, and he's for sure paying you off if he has that. there's no reason for him to put you on QJ. remember, when you bet more you can get called with less frequency and still have a higher overall expectation. go for max value on this one.
nomad_monad
you could push the river, but if not i think you could bet a little more on the river than 7.
reason being, when the turn gives you the OESD and you bet 6.5 to win 17.25, you need to win a bit more than an additional 7 on the river to make this a break even play based just on odds. obviously you can work a ltitle bit below that mark because you might have some FE on the turn, but i think you can still boost your bottom line a bit more here while still getting called.

it's really minor tho - nh. good job not getting yourself committed on the turn.

Bet 6 on the turn and more on the river.

I like most of it, bet way more on that river. You could have easily bet $12 and got called.

What do you guys have the villain on in this hand? What he turned over really surprised me.

A really wide range...but if it surprised you I'm gonna guess something like QQ.
Scott3705
yeah, his range here is huge since he's just being a passive calling station at this point. small PP's to 10 face. Dont' know how much it matters on putting him on a hand... he looks like he's got a half way decent piece of this and is going to b e calling you down on most rivers.

checking the turn OOP after being pf and post flop agressor is basically a surrender

i like the hand as played

Villain showed A10. Wasnt his preflop call that suprised me, was the calls through the rest of the hand.

You were playing either extremely tight preflop or LAG post flop. I don't think he played it all that weird.

Then he donked.

If tight preflop, you don't call with A10 on that K turn.

If LAG postflop, you raise big on the flop to protect your hand.

Either way, slayed. People get really angry when I say that in the chat lol.

Actually you're right about the tight preflop. call the flop but fold the turn when the ace or king comes.

As far as the LAG, eh... I've seen people call me down w/ hands like this... don't know if it's profitable for them, but it seems unprofitable for me on my end.
