I started the FT 2nd in chips, and liking my chances of taking it all down..This was my first table move the entire tournament, which I liked since I had solid reads on everyone at my table..

This was the second hand of the FT and an important one because I realized what a huge donkey NoSleeeep is..Once I got 3 callers, I had absolutely no intention on going further w/ this hand unless I flopped 2 pair, a flush, straight, or trips..Basically I needed the deck to smack me right in the face if I was putting another chip in

I could have maybe smooth called his bet on the flop, but I figured since he put half his stack in, he would have called an all in, especially after he called off all his chips previously when he only had 6K invested w/ a gut shot..I guess this just proves you can't predict what donkeys are going to do

I have found that c/b against multiple opponents when I miss is probably my biggest leak and have fixed it I think rather succesfully lately..Here is an example

NoSleeeep sucked out on Pot, I stole the BB w/ AK, NoSleeep pushes all in on a flop w/ a gut shot and busts, and the other short stack busts and we get to 4 handed..Didn't take long at all, especially when morons try to give their chips away..

I get snapped off here..Your not stealing/playing aggressively enough if you don't get caught every once in a while

This might be a leak here, but I thought stacks were deep enough to call here and evaluate a flop, especially with Pot coming along..If it is scary, I can get away very easily, and if I set it, I could take a massive pot..Let me know what you guys think

Suited Ace 9 is too big to get away from 4 handed..Also he had been pushing all his big hands, so I figured when he standard raised instead, it showed a bit of weakness and I can open up his range wide enough for this to be +EV

Here is another example where if I standard c/b I think I get played back at on this ragged flop and have to fold my hand..I decided to c/r instead, and although it may be a bit pricier if he does have a hand that hit the flop, I think that happens so unlikely its +EV

Stole with 65 suited, Walked a few sbs over ( I don't like limping in OOP,I'll switch it up and do it occasionally), Stole w/ K9 suited, Raised w/ QJ and got called by POT..He led out for 1/2 the pot on an K98 board and I folded..

More pretty standard stuff here I think..

I think this hand was played almost perfectly..I want to keep him bluffing so I smooth called the flop instead of raising..I know some people will want me to raise or lead the flop, but I think I miss value if I do that. My friends thought I should maybe bet half his stack, 20 K, on the river, but I think after the turn he had a high heart, not a 10..I can't see him folding a 10, as he would have pushed back on the turn I feel..Feedback appreciated though

All in all, I think I played a very solid tournament. I made a few mistakes that cost me the win, but I played well enough to be there and I felt good about it even though I took 2nd..I limited my mistakes to a few which was key, as I have compounded them before
gobears
Ah10H hand - obviously the table respects your preflop raises...letting it go after the flop doesn't hit you is obviously correct

I fold the KJ for 1/2 your stack to Kras' push also

Pushing over the limper is fine but be wary of the limp/trap. If I see a player constantly pushing over a limper; I'll limp with a big hand to trap.

On the 33 hand in the BB with two in before me - I'll just call that all day and hope for the set.

On the 22 hand with a 4-1 chip advantage - I would call getting 2-1 as on a normal range for villain (A8+, KJ+, any PP), you're around 40% to win so you're getting the right odds plus a chance to knock out a player.

I dislike the jam with A5 and 89 headsup as your stacks are deep enough to play small ball. Especially on the 89 hand as villain had raised substanstially preflop so an overpair has to be considered. I don't mind calling with straight draws as they are harder to see if you hit unlike a flush draw which typically will not get paid off.

Once your stack size over the BB gets below 10; you should look at SAGE as a guideline for playing HU. The 89 hands are a fold according to SAGE (2nd one not by much) and the 86 would be a fold preflop.
