throwemaway
I have had a decent amount of success in stars' 4.40 180 person sngs..They are great for low level buy in players looking to build a roll, imo..Therefore, I'm gonna post a series of hands that kind of define the tournament, and hopefully we can get some good feedback and/or it can help some of the guys playing them as well..There will probably be 3 parts..Early stages, Middle stages, and End game..Also, I know this is not an original idea..I know a few of you guys did it for 22 180s, but for us lower limit guys, heres a go at it

I like to push big hands early..JJ AK and up..If I bust, oh well, if I double, great.. After this I got cold cards for a while, seriously not playing one pot..I love this because it establishes a tight aggressive image, not that anyone pays attention anyways lol

After winning a massive pot like that, I can start to loosen up, especially since the only 2 hands I've shown have been pretty much monsters

Here, I feel like I can take a somewhat marginal situation and isolate since I have this massive chip stack..If i lose this pot, I still have plenty of room to work but if I win, I continue to accumulate and thats what I need to do in order to go deep

Another BB beauty..I somehow managed to not have one slip up at all yet..I could have probably bet the turn and then priced them in for a bigger bet on the river..That is the only thing I may have done differently, but I was planning on a c/r..Wasn't an awful hand I don't think

I had an absolutely amazing first hour and then some..You don't have to have nearly this much success in order to go deep, just win timely pots..

Looks Good

I also like raising preflop if I have a deep stack with hands like 78, 8 10, 69 suited or not because of the deception factor. If high cards hit, you can fire a CB and your opponents will likely fold unless the flop hit them. If the flop hits your hand, your hand is disguised and you can punish someone who thinks that you're firing a CB with air and who plays back at you.

The AQ hand late was an aggressive play but with villain's M at 8 and your big stack, the call was reasonable. However, folding would be a valid option if you knew that villain played tight.

This is the one play that I really dislike, because at this level you're not going to pick off a limper without a raise that's at least twice this size. Otherwise, nice hands.
