I have been playing strcitly 6 man SNGs for quite some time now as I feel like I am a better 6 man player than full table. It has been my sole source of income for about 8 months now. During the summer I usually play 40 hours a week and average around 20 or so durig the school year. I have 1 year left of college & plan on playing as my job when I'm done. I have done really well multi tableing the $38s on Stars. My most recent stats for 6 tableing are a 20% ROI with a $50.54 hourly rate over 1,800+ SNGs. This is all great and I would have no problem maintaining my current hourly wage. My concern is that I might be missing out on even more $ by staying at the 6 man SNGs.

The high stakes 6 man SNGs don't fill very much for one. During the summer I only play during the morning & afternoon & cannot fill up ehnough high stakes tables to multi table. During the morning I can't even fill up any with high stakes. This is why I have stayed at the $38s. Also, I feel like i might be maxed out at 6 tables playing the 6 mans, whereas I think I could definitely play more if I was playing full table SNGs.

My original plan was to try a 4 tableing mix of $119s/$121s/Party $109s once school started & I played more at night. I know I can beat the $119s at Stars & I wouldn't think the $121s/Party $109s would be much different. I was then going to add tables if I did well. Lately, however, I was considering studying full table more & making the switch. I think it would be more profitable in the long run. Would everyone agree on that one? I thought that 4 tableing the Stars $27 turbos would be a good place to start. Would anyone advise anything else? I plan on staying at Stars. I can't stand Party's software. Rakeback is great but the FPPs at Stars will make up for some of that.

How long would you guys think it would take me to be making $50/hr at full table if I put time into studying the game? Should I just take a week off completely to study the full table game more? Should I play completely full table right away if I switch or should I play full table half of the day & 6 man half of the day to offset some of the income hit? I don't have that much experience playing full table SNGs. I played them when i started but then switched to cash games after reading HOH1. I then played 6 max cash for a little while, before finally ending up in the 6 man SNGs, where I've been for almost a year now. Any help and advice would be appreciated. BTW, I havene't made up my mind on whether or not I'm going to switch yet, although it may sound that way at some points.

It is kind of hard to read but I read it. Seems like you are doing very well at the 6's. You should def take a week of really grinding the full tables to adjust your game.

I didn't see what you strat was for the 6 seaters so I don't know if you will have to make a lot of adjustments or not. The way you are going now seems fine, although most of us know the most money you can make will be in cash games. You might want to switch over and try some 1-2nl shorthanded if the swings aren't too much for you.

Those games prove to be very profitable and I have no experience with the full table sit n go's of 100 or more.

I edited the post to make it easier to read. Sorry about that. I appreciate that you responded anyway. I will definitely need to make some strategy adjustments. I make a lot of position raises earlier in the 6 mans due top the large # of dionks that I can outplay post-flop. I still play tighter than most though. I know that the most money you can make is in cash games. My ultimate goal is to switch to cash games. However, I would like to put in more time to study the game before I do this. I feel like it would be a much easier transition to full table SNGs. I probably won't play cash games for about another year or so. SNGs are more of a 2 street game while cash games obviously are not.

Do you guys think 4 tableing the $27 turbos would be a good place to start 4 tableing. I have the bankroll for anything up to $215s so that is not a concern. Is 4 a good # of tables to start with or should I try more/less? Is $27 a good buy-in level to start at?
