Well, looshle won so kudos.
Again, he didn't win, we tied, but lost since we were the wildcard. In fact he was beaten so many times but totally luckboxed, it wasn't funny. A bunch of 2 and 3 outers to keep alive or finally win.
I am so proud of my team for handing it to such a good player and fan favorite, it's such a shame it ended this way.
I railed looshle all day the day he finished 3rd in the Circuit event as many of us were and told him so. I love to see all of us fcp'ers do well.
So I was really surprised at the smack talk in the forum and him saying what he did when he won by shear dumb luck.
See you guys next year and again, we started off 0-4, battled back to the playoffs in the toughest division, won a playoff match to get into the playoffs and won the first 2 wildcard matches only to let bad beats knock us out.
Oh well, next year.
edit: I am probably a little sour about the smack talk but looshle did admit that he was lucky to win it in the post game thread so i'm good now. Anyone wanna spoon? I need a cuddle.

Any "trash talk" was 100% sarcastic. You guys played much better than I did and deserved the win.

Well done sir, ship that money. By the way, our division was by far the hardest, not the Zimmer/Alf league. You can't argue against a team in our division being 10-4 and having to go wildcard.

"By far?" is a bit extreme. At week 13 my division didn't have a single losing team...only reason our records don't look better is because it was so hard to win.
Is it not possible that you had two 10-5 records because your bottom two were so far behind?

WOW...I must say...that you are full of ****.
The Slim division had the best players, best teams, and best matches. PERIOD.

I know I'm biased, but I have to agree. Seriously, whenever I can consider Yangsters the least threatening team in my division, I know there are some players there. The Kings/Loosh division had 2 10-5 teams, but the Slim division was better top to bottom.

We may not have the best division(unless ppsux and hoosier start playing more), but we definitely had the most exciting division this year. Last division to be decided, and the four teams were 7-8, 7-8, 8-7, 8-7

I'd take our division against any others for some off season matches...

Seriously, who cares? The slim division sure does have some ridiculous pride. I mean I could possibly see people sticking up for their teams or for their own play, but for the play of your division? Wow. It's not a big deal really, but we had two of the best 5 record teams in the league. You guys had none. Both of these guest posts were GrinderMJ, by the way. I don't really wan't to argue any more about division strength though.

I'd like to add to my above post that I obviously think the Slim division is strong and have respect for all the teams in it, i just don't think it's some cutthroat, super stacked division.

OK, I'll trade you Checky and Friends for Kielbasy Posse. I'm just saying, I was 9-6 and 2-4 in my division. You guys have a tough division, but I think our division is the toughest top to bottom.

Yeah, Checky's record isn't reflective of his skill.
It's hard to say until every player has like 10 career games.
The skill will be more obvious after 2 or 3 seasons.

Alot of variance in HU play...
Having said that...my team went 4-2 in the division and sucked against the Hearts conference...so in other words...we all don't know what the fuk we are talking about.
I still say that Slim Division takes it. Some serious heavyweights in this group boys...
