I'm a rookie...just a warning.
Oh, ok, maybe not a rookie, but an "avid", small cash game, player whose attention has been directed from All-American Football games to Texas Hold Em'.
Yep, I was sucked in. Just like everyone else.
My question is: what is the best way to learn?
Some people are readers and can apply what is taught, through words, into application.
Then there are others who find visually pleasing video's the key sucess in turning their losing cash games into a 'profitable' night with the guys.
I pose this question to Mr. Negreanu. And, to everyone else.
What, in your eyes, is the best learning tool for learning this game?
Learning something and putting "it" into application are two different things. I've read numerous books from all the successful Poker players, but it seems a general application (player strategy) has to be used due to the multitude of variants presented in every hand/situation.
Honestly, I've enjoyed the Video Blogs and find I understand what is going on (key hands/situations). Kudo's to you Mr. Negreanu on those.
GOOD LUCK AT THE WSOP 2006!!
