I have been a consistent winner on PP at the .50/1.00 level until lately (a $50 slide over the past month. I'm afraid I've developed a leak or two, perhaps I'm just in a bigger downswing than usual. Here are two hands that seem to be typical of those I lose money on.

I don't want to fold top pair everytime there is a possible flush on the board but I also think I lost more money than I should have on these hands.

hand #1: i would have tried to check raise the flop since you have so many people behind you yet to act and you flopped a big hand that is deceptive....i think you would have been able to get a check raise in there and make it lest profitable for the guy who hit runner runner for his straight to draw at it.....once he calls your 50 on the flop he is getting the correct odds to call any turn bet since he picked up an open ended straight draw, you should have 3 the turn...that card opened up a lot of draws.....it made a backdoor flush draw possible and a staightdraw.....but you still prob have the best hand at the time......but you did make a good lay down on the river...although it might have been worth it to call one bet because its such a weak game....but your prob beat for two.....good fold on the end

hand #2: first off i wouldn't have called a raise pre flop with q10 off...but not the worst play in the world....its tough because you hand might be dominated by a bigger kicker at this point and the preflop raiser acts after you so if you check and he bets he might just be betting the flop since he raised preflop....you really don't have much more information.....i like your bet but once you get raised there i think you have to lay it down...then if you called that bet thinking your good when that undercard comes off on the turn you have to bet again.....i think it either fold toe the flop raise otherwise you have to come out firing on the turn.....i think you got yourself into trouble by calling a preflop raise out of position with a hand that could be dominated.....its a tough spot because you have top pair with a marginal kicker.....and once you flop that its hard to get away from.....i'd try to avoid this by folding preflop....or at least folding to the flop raise
