WOW. He completely had me fooled! What he was saying didn't add up, but I immediately thought to myself, wow his bad session in the big game must have really cleaned his clock. So he's too down to play. I'm thinking all of this financial doom and gloom. Then all of a sudden he slapped me in the face with, "SUCKER."

I will freely admit that I was fooled right up until he said that it was to make an appearnace. It clicked right before he said that it was a joke. It was good for a great laugh though. As always DN did a superior job with this blog. One of the highlights of the day.

same here, i totally believed him, all the way up until he confessed the joke. I was in awe when he said he had "committed to other engagements" i kinda went blank until he gave up the joke.

After reading y'alls responses, I now know how come those emails from Nigeria work.

How could anybody believe DN for a second? The first thing he said was something like "I forgot it was a 10 day tournament". Yeah right. You really think Daniel Negreanu didn't know exactly when this tournament was and how long it lasted and when he could schedule other things to do?

I really would like to play poker against all of you if you fell for this. It was way obvious.
