What's the deal with Royal tour?

I like Royal; he and I have never had a problem in any regard. I was once greatly amused by his story about mooning a security camera. But how has he managed to earn such a following? Most of his posts seem pretty neutral. Is there a secret thread somewhere where he displays a razor wit or tells fabulous stories? Are they in the Army thread? Can someone link something?

It's been so long - during what us older fcp members call the hey day

Royal and Ron Mexico would go back and forth with homosexual banter

Then again maybe we all loved Mexico so much that it rubbed off and we loved Royal too - but anyway - together they became the kinds of FCP!

I used to really like him in the early days, but I can't even remember anything he posted.

Also, I still like him, I just wonder what I'm missing when I see posters with "I'd give my first-born son for a lock of Royal's man hair," or whatever, in their sig. Is he posting in one of the forums I don't check?

I actually don't think he posts that much anymore - its hard to tell before the charter member thing there were way less sections and threads and everyone knew each other now all the vets hide in individual threads like the army and sick etc

That was a last longer bet he made with SBriand in a tournament they were both in. I don't have the link (because I'm lazy), but it was somewhere in general.

But umm... to be honest... I think it's more of a past experience factor.

He's been more scarce the past few months, but back in the day... he and I pretty much had something to say about everything in every thread.

The gusto has worn off, but the memories remain.

Although I don't have specifics, lol.

sorry if i dont post like i used too. I havent been playing much poker, and have been doin "actual" work.

Dutch and others with similar questions, i'm not sure why I have a following. Heck, i dont even remember when that 1st fan club logo even appeared.
I do know i caused a ripple with my ever changing avatars of elisha, and the back and forth banter with speedz and mexico, a few creative threads, MTT barrages, and others

I guess the trip to vegas and the shout outs in DN's blog only fueled the fire.

I've always just been myself on here, saying what i think, and telling stories when people will listen.
I've met a few fcp'ers in person, managed to sucker them into thinking im a good guy lol.
been drunk with a lot of them, out danced DN like it was disco fever!

I dunno, I guess i missed the memo where it said FCP forums are a competition. I'm not one too start new threads about my life, you can tell by checking my blog, I have 5 entrees in like 8 months.

i remember i said i did it by accident, well, thats true.

it was winter of grade 11. on a tuesday, school night.

I used to be a hardcore snowboarder/skater back when it was cool. back when people would yell "skate or die" out their windows.

a whole wack of 14 - 18 year olds were "riding" or "slashing the nar" out at snowvalley in my hometown.

Good sessions at the valley, you were always guaranteed to see people there snowboarding or blazing. Infact we used to take ketchup packs and hot water cuz it was free and make tomatoe soup, the ketchup wiouldnt disolve and it was basically a red glob inside hot water but hey, thats how we rolled.

anywyas, back on topic.. so we show up that night i was with my buddy doug. Doug who has an older sister, a sister who is dating "skully" a crazy old dude who smokes all day and is 100% old school.
he's always out at the valley with us ripping it up.

Now skully got his name cuz of his face, big teeth and not the greatest lookin guy. he also had dirty long dreds. He was also a popular dealer for us.

After the snowboarding doug and myself end up catching a ride with Skully.
its like 10pm on a tuesday (night snowboarding) we decide to go to Shriggley's house. Chris Shriggley who is a bit older and another burn out.
we get there and skully and shriggley wanna hit some tubbers. Basically parachutes for you weed smokers. Nothing new for me, i say sure why not.
Its about 10:30 after i take a couple hits and sit down to watch a bit of a skateboard video.
I've never gotten so freaked out off smoking weed before. i started hearing like little girls giggling in another room. Like the creepy kind from the shinning . I was sh1tting my pants realising my dad is gonna be asking me where the hell i was. meanwhile i'm out of my mind stoned.
i was doing the old, dont say a word to anyone and just try and act cool. surpress my stonedness and maybe it wil go away.
I get home at like 11:30 i run upstairs to the bathroom, and jesus. dont ever look in a mirror when you're that messed, IT makes YOu worse!
my dad of course is standing out side the door., I open it and hes right in my face. "where were you? u have school" Then ofcourse i answer with, I'm just real tired.
Hes like. "wtf? whats wrong with you? blah blah, are you high?"

me, what?? OMG dad, i dont do drugs, i'm tired and dont feel good.

next time i see doug I ask him if he got as phucked as i did, and thats when he told me.
skully likes to sprinkle and lace his weed for himself. we just happend to smoke his own that night.
