I think I have found a substantial leak in my play. Frequently, when I am in the sb and others have only limped in I complete with any 2 cards. Should I be a bit more selective and only play certain hands or should I continue to call getting great odds hoping to get lucky on the flop.

eh, I complete the SB a lot too. I think it's much more of an issue in LHE than NL tho.

do you have pokertracker? what % times are you completing from SB?

i complete a lot of hands from the SB in the situation you describe with hands that i normally wouldn't play otherwise. but i still throw away crap like J3o and such - reason being even if I hit the flop hard with something like J33 or JJ3, chances are no one's going to have a hand to really pay me off well with. If I hit trip Js or 3s and start getting action, I'm more often than not going to be in a reverse implied odds situation - trip Js I've got massive kicker issues, trip 3s not quite as much but still, people limp a lot w/A3, maybe K3 suited, rather than other 3x hands that i've got outkicked.

also - obviously, don't complete with hands that are mostly implied odds hands if your stack or the limpers' stacks aren't big enough.

eh this can/cant be a leak.

depends on ur post flop play. If you are good in a lot of marginal situations then this can be alright. But if you are struggling I would tighten up preflop. Calling with any 2 cards is probably a bit to loose anyways.

This definately isnt a huge leak but one that could save u 1 bet/100 or so
