this mainly applies to the 3/6 game I'm playing

Let us assume that neither player is extreme lag or extreme tag - raising with ony A10+ and 10,10+, I hope that's an ok assumption

A) Value Betting Flush Draws

You raise preflop with AsKd and get one caller

Board Ah 6h 10s 2d 3h

action on every street with you leading. You're first to act, bet?

Situation 2 - there are two people calling you down and you're first to act.

B ) Pocket Pairs and Isolation (wow, apparently B ) with no space makes sunglasses smiley face)

This is something I've been trying out and am not sure if it's +ev or not. I've had success and no success, I do this regardless if they're passive or aggressive.

You hold 88 and mp1 raises, you 3bet from mp2 to isolate.
bet, and if check-raised, 3bet - while possibly firing a turn bet.

To knock out some obvoius answers. Def. isolate the passive and the wild guy, definitely don't raise the rock of gibraltar.

Against aggressive players, 3bet, check, and call river bet if there is no A on board?

Would u do this from mp2 or only from CO and Button?

Situation B2

You're on the button w/88, mp1 raises, mp2 calls, raise or immediate fold? Can't you assume it's a cointoss here and if only one high card comes, there's a chance both will have missed?

Situation 3
You have AJ in CO, you don't have that much info on this player except that you've seen him play more hands than a super rock. Pitch it or 3bet ?

There is a Part II concerning playing position and gutshot draws, but I don't want to overload you guys. Ty for reading and answering.

Completely depends on the guy. Probably a bet/fold for the river against most. Sometimes a bet/call. Rarely anything else.

Doesnt change much. It's a bigger pot, but each player is less likely to bluff or make a weird value raise with just an ace when it's multiway.

Depends on too many details to say based on that.

But...

If you think he has A10+ and 1010+, why are you 3betting?

The fact that there are 5 people behind you that might pick up a 4bettable hand makes it even uglier.

You isolate yourself against the guy who probably has a better hand, and potentially a guy who DEFINITELY has a better hand. Hooray.

Need numbers on MP1 and MP2. Without any, fold. The information you gave is too vague to count for anything. Probably doesnt make much of a difference either way, but i dont like playing blind here to push a tiny edge.

i 3bet cuz there's a good chance he has Ax, so if the flop comes low, then I may be able to take it.

If he has pocket pair and face cards come, I still may be able to take it because I isolated him.

Surprisingly so far, I haven't been 4bet that often. Maybe once or twice.
