In my defense, I find that aggression wins in these limits on PP and usually if I have any chance of winning the pot, I'd play it ultra aggressive. Did I just get lucky here or did I play this okay? I really can't tell myself.

I don't like the turn raise, though it worked out this time.

I don't like the turn raise...

I don't like the flop call. Chasing extremely weak overs and a couple of backdoor draws in this pot is likely to put RIO in full effect. I say bet/fold this entirely too coordinated flop.

I think a bet/fold kinda sucks because there are so many draws villian would play this way. Easy flop call IMO.

There are a lot of draws, true. Thus, we have to discount our overs to what... 1 out? 2 at the most? Give us another 1.5 for the bd draws and 2-4 outs is maybe *barely* enough to peel, but it's more likely light than not.

The more I think of it, the more I think checking this flop is a much better play than bet/folding it. It may check thru and then we have a chance to reevaluate our hand on the turn.

I agree that checking the flop definetly has merit, and could probably be the best play. However, I think that once we bet, getting 10:1, we definetly have the odds to peel with a good bd flush draw and overs. I think you are discounting our overs too much. Too me, once villian check/raises the flop, his most likely hand is a draw, with sets and two pair lagging behind (given the pf action). I do think it's close, but I think the play on the flop is too call.

I rarely ever check on the flop when I have the lead, especially with 2 overcards to the board. My flop call is questionable I agree but my justification at the time was that my overcards doesn't complete any draws and with 10.5-1 w/ a player behind me likely to make it 11.5-1, I decided to peel one.

I don't like my play on the turn very much either but I really didn't want to call the bet and hope to make my flush on the river so I opted to go aggressive with it.

When the CO called 2 cold, I put him on a hand like A10 w/ A diamond or something like that, so I had to bet the river.

I think I may have overplayed this hand since I really didn't have that good of a read on either of the players in the hand.

I think we have to call the check raise.

I don't like the turn raise. There is an exception. If you have been playing against the same opponents for a while, constantly folding either on the flop or turn to check raises, you have to take a stand. I'm not sure your hand is good enough to do it here, but at some point table image has to be considered.

Raising is usually done for 1 of 2 reasons.
- for value
- to force someone off the best hand

What is the point of this turn raise?

Your hand isn't strong enough to warrant raising for value.

The fact that CO has been calling along means he's not going away for 1 more bet.
And I think it is highly unlikely that BB is going to fold here (though he did!)
But the point is, someone is coming along so you aren't going to win without improving.

Only against 2 very tight opponents do I continuation bet this coordinated flop.
Otherwise, I see a free turn card.

But once you do bet, I think your really do have to call the raise.
