In my experience playing online micro limit HE (and often even low limit at Party and others) high pair and two pair are money losers. Even sets at certain tables. I've done fairly well overall in limit HE online but I have been adjusting a LOT to compensate for insane play that goes well beyond what SSH and WLLH discuss. High pair in most games is worthless and for me it's been universally a money loser. I have adjusted to play for straights at a minimum. Suited connectors play in any position in I would say 80% of games and I tend to play them in nearly all cases. AKs is extremely valuable but AKo is actually of very little value overall.

It is of course possible to make adjustments based on one's own reasoning and analysis which of course is very subjective... however I would think given how popular these games are it would be possible to construct an optimum strategy and starting hand charts for "insane" games, which is most of them. Has anyone done this using a large database or perhaps using computer modeling of typical "insane" micro limit play?

learn to fold TPTK against lots of action on coordinated boards.
learn to always raise/reraise/cap with AK AA-QQ, KQs (and more in loose games) preflop low limit games.

and, no one should follow that advice you give.

except the part about suited connectors, they do play well in loose games.

In my expeirience I think the starting hand guide in Small Stakes Holdem is fine. Ive made a few tweaks to it which I feel work for me, but playing suited connectors aginst raises and in early position doesnt seem like a winning strategy in limit holdem. The dont have the implied odds to warrant playing them. In a deep stacked NL game sure, but in limit its alot more important to start with a good hand preflop. My advice would be to read or reread SSHE and pay more attention to your opponents so that you have a btter idea of when its good to value bet with second pair or when it is good to lay down two pair.

I think if the game is loose enough (and horribl post flop play) you can play 56s from EP for example. But if there's lots of pf raising then, no. But I'd call an EP raise in MP with 87s if there were already two callers and unlike a raise to come..etc.. in a "bad" game.
