Yeah the tourneys are usually full of donks and people who think they're better than they are. But in the few I have played there I have yet to successfully navigate through the mine fields. Plus the structure of their tourneys is horrible. As far as the cash games go, I don't have a big enough bankroll to play at the middle and higher limits yet, but in the lower limits everybody really really really sucks.

It's been a while...maybe I'll try to get down there tomorrow.

Hustler every Monday in the NL tourney and maybe 1 other day/week. I usually play the 2-5 NL game and the 5-10 when they spread it.

During the summer a put a lot of hours in at Ocean's 11, and during the school year I get out to Barona as much as my schedule allows. Pechanga also isnt bad, but their dealers arent the nicest, Barona's certainly are.

I go to Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo and I make the trip down to Chumash every couple of weeks when I'm in school. I like it there, dealers and floormen are extremely nice, and I generally have a good time. Most of the time I just play 3/6 limit holdem and occasionally play in a tournament. I just wish there were more NL tournaments instead of limit at night during the week. I think the only one they have is on Sunday morning, and I'm not waking up on Sunday for anything, except football when it starts. Also there isn't as many tourists as there is in LA because Chumash is in the middle of nowhere with no signs so people who don't know about it won't find it.

When I'm at home in Santa Cruz I play at Bay 101 in San Jose (not socal).

Anybody played at the Lake Elsinore Casino?

No one plays at the commerce?

I lived down in San Diego for the summer and played at a few card rooms down there.

Palomar Card Club - Good 5-10 NL and a real crappy structure for their 1-2NL
Village Club - Good all around. Really good ohama and NL hold-em games.
Vijas - Indian casino outside of San Diego. Decent card room but not my favorite.

I liked the Village Club down in Chula Vista the best because it had the most action and on the weekends you get a lot of poor players at the tables. I hear that the Lucky Lady and Sequan(spelling??? another indian casino) card rooms were good too but I never made it there.
