Note:I posted this here because of the MTV Stacked tv show and wanted to warn you about the too tight gameplay!

After finally getting to the final casino in Stacked(PS2) and playing against all the pros except for Daniel and Carlos I am sick of how tight they all play.David Williams likes to occasionally raise and then I just re-raise him the minimum and he folds.Sure he was probably trying to steal but even when I make minimum raises it's very rare for anyone to call. With small blinds and big chipstacks the pokibots would rather fold than play unless they have A-K,a pocket pair or suited cards. It's stupid to raise when you have pocket aces in Stacked(because all will fold 80% of the time if you do)even though you're letting in 2-3 extra limpers.Want to learn bad poker habits, just play Stacked! Most of the bots fold even without a raise.Only the limit game plays realistically enough. Also, they don't even use Jennifer Harman's real voice-maybe she was sick?

Stacked has the most realistic all-in learning A.I. though. They usually go all-in only with the same hands you do(unless short-stacked,bluffing to steal blinds or are falling behind in the tourney).

Stacked also suffers from frequent slowdown or frame chugging as the camera moves around the table and it has the worst collision detection of any poker game I've ever played! At least the pros look much better than they do in the WPT videogame.

Finally, make sure you use the LEFT JOYSTICK to make mid-range bets instead of the awful too fast or too slow moving d-pad and at least it's good that the game CAN save career tournaments(90 player maximum) in progress(just ignore the screen that says you will lose all your progress).Due to the extremely tight play, even at the final table,Stacked's tournaments which can have as much as $250,000 starting chipstacks(with and blinds less than than $200 that only rise every 15-20 real time minutes)can take 4-6 hours or more to finish.Certainly it's challenging, but the unrealistic limping in to trap technique necessary to win faster,is more of a gruelling luck-fest than a skilled contest.Oh well,at least the bots don't fold as often in the limit game,if you don't fall asleep playing it.

Stacked=6.5/10 (only because I'm a sucker for console poker games-otherwise I'd give it 5/10 for it's ability to play limit poker properly(uses Zen A.I. not Poki A.I.)and having many things in the game that no other console game has(like calling out the dealt board cards and automatically posting your blinds for you while you're away from the PS2 etc.).
