He is headed down to Vegas with Red Hot July 23-27

If you watched when DN had Jimmy in the back room Jimmy started crying and DN told him he would take care of him. I guess the backing is the "taking care of him part"

ok...once and for all...what the hell happened to these guys? This is not a cheeky "Where's Jerry?" post...did they suck so bad that DN bought 'em out...just in case they lucked into winning it?

OK...I think I found the answer...short stacks were offered a buy out...DN's little test to see if they got heart.

Well Jimmy had around 80K left when he took the buyout so he was not the short stack. It looked like Jimmy could really use the $$$ because he has not seen his sister in 17 years and DN has taken almost all the players in the back not necessarily the short stacks.

Ah ok...

I can't wait until this airs in the States or is available on DVD...

Well its about time we in Canada get to see something before the US.

All the ESPN and FSN events are aired in Canada months after they have already aired in the US.

I think its great that Daniel said he was willing to invest in this guy. I mean he took the buyout but its seems that he did really need the money but had his heart in the right place poker wise. I hope that things can turn around for Jimmy. As for Daniel again he shows the generosity and character in the players of what was once thought to be a dirty way to make a living. A true ambassador and Canadian as well.
