Anyway, I've been posting at CardPlayer for a few years now, but since the upgrade, I haven't been able to view the site, so I guess I'm switching over to here.

So, I was at the casino and playing relatively tight. They had only seen me raise 1 hand, which was KK, but I had also only been there for 10 minutes.

I finally pick up A icon_suit_heart.gif A icon_suit_club.gif UTG and raise. It's folded around to the button who says, "you must have a good hand," and 3-bets it. Both blinds call and I cap.

The flop is J icon_suit_diamond.gif 5 icon_suit_heart.gif 5 icon_suit_diamond.gif . Both blinds check and I bet. The button just calls. The SB folds and the BB raises. I don't know what I should have done here, but I just called, as did the button.

Now, the BB announces a dark check. The turn is the K icon_suit_heart.gif . I thought about betting, but I didn't. The button waits a second, and asked who raised on the flop, and then bets. The BB immediately check-raised.

Folds to the donkey BB's 5x, or JJ, and 3-bettor's KK.

I highly doubt I'm calling 2 cold here on this turn.

Flop, I may 3-bet. If it's capped, I'm probably folding the turn.

If you bet the turn like you're supposed the hand plays a lot easier. As it is, fold to two on the turn and mutter 'nice hand' when he flips up AK.

If he should have bet the turn, then he should have 3-bet the flop. Calling the flop and leading the turn just seems so strange, then again, so does the dark check.

After thinking about it again, I think the BB could have a flush draw, dark checked so conceal it a bit, and then raised when he paired his Kd. I still think we need to 3-bet the flop.

3 bet flop, yep.

Lead Turn. Fold if 2 back.

see showdown otherwise.

who calls two raises out of the BB with 5x ?

if he has JJ. I think he waits for the turn to c/r.

yep.

I could think of a wide range of hands that will call you here then from the BB with a 5...lol
The Nuts
Like everybody else has said. Three-bet flop. Bet turn.

If anyone was interested, the BB had QQ, and the button won with AK.
