Come on Italy

I think the France is going to win. They've been looking REALLY good lately.

It's gonna be an Italy France final, although a Germany France final might be interesting because of France's history of being Germany's *****.

In my opinion Argentina was the best team in the tournament. Since Germany beat them (granted it was in pk's) I have to give the edge to Germany, especially with home field advantage. Of course in this world cup it is up to the referees.

Rematch of WWII when Germany vs. France, and Germany wins.

The refs have already won. It was a blowout. Everyone else loses.

I think the winner will come from the Italy-Germany match. I want Italy to win badly, but it's ****ing Germany at home. Musn't. Bet. Against them.

I'd hate it, but the Germans proved once again that they can grow immensely during a tournament..they take it down.

They're a very mediocre side imo. Any of the other three teams would eat them up.

What makes them mediocre in your eyes?

Things that make them possible WC winners:

They got Figo. He is old but still a very good winger, and he can trick refs/ players very well.

Their attack is class all the way actually. Simao, Pauleta and Ronaldo all play at top tier teams and Simao en Ronaldo are very good dribblers with the bal.

Deco.

Maniche.

Their wing backs are impressive too. I like Miguel most with his rushes.

Ricardo. Possibly the keeper with the best showing at this WC. A penaltykiller and very good reflexes as a linekeeper.

They beat some good teams. Holland, England. Also, they play very well together, and act like a machine.

To say that they are mediocre seems a bit harsh on their side. They made the final 4 and have a good chance at the title. Its all pretty close in my eyes.

ITALIA

Holland weren't all that great, and although I didn't see that match, it was a bit of a farce, so maybe you can't draw conclusions from it.

England were awful.

Without Deco their attack was awful against England, their strength is unquestionably their defence imo.

Ricardo is decent, but penalties apart he's not an outstanding keeper at all imo.

no way italy wins, I think the final will be Germany France, and I think France might have a good shot, especially cuz of the whole ZiZu's last game thing, they beat Brazil and thats even more of an ego boost.

I'm thinking Italy vs. France for the title, and I like France to win it.

I want to see upstart Portugal in the final and get a win, giving Scolari back to back titles with 2 different teams.
