I am curious to know what the feeling is to playing online.
Is it more profitable to play ring games or tournaments?

I play online everyday and that is a good question. I keep stats on all of my play and I make more money playing sit-and-go then anything. I like playing in multi-table tournys the most but you have to usually be in the top 5 to get paid what you want for the time spent playing. So I think if your playing to make money consistently the sit-and-go's are the way to go. You can win alot playing in the ring games but there are swings and its harder to get away from if your losing. Overall there is money in all the games to be made, but if your l0oking for a big win then play the multi-table tourys. If you like quick results go for the ring games or sit-an go.

I love to play tournaments, but I make more money in ring games. It just depends on what you're better at.

Personally, I do best in SNGs. I too like to play MTT, but even a $20 MTT doesn't really pay out until the top 5%, so I doubt I make anywhere near the same $/hour on MTT as I do on $10 SNG. I started off with ring games when I first started playing, but fell in love with SNG and haven't really had success when trying to go back to ring games.
I'd recommend you try both and then ask yourself. Am I here to have fun or make money or a little of both?, and which style helps me to accomplish these goals?
