There's not? Been to the Vic? Or the Gutshot? Or the Grosvenor at Luton? I was at Luton last night, it's not huge but it's pretty well run!

Hey,

Western Fair always has poker WHILE THE FAIR IS ON....It's kinda
cheesy, though as it's only 5/10 or 10/20 Limit. I played 5/10 last
year, and the quality of play actually was decent. For 10/20, which
is what I usually play in Brantford, they only ever had one table
going at any point that I was at the fair last year, with a waiting list
at least 20-30 deep....It's also a raked game as opposed to a time
charge like they do in Brantford.

Hope that helped a bit...Maybe we can get some more London fcp'ers
and just start our own little game....

PM me if you're interested....

The only real way to get into the games is to either show up right when it starts or wait 2-3 hours for the list.

The 5/10 is incredibly easy and the 10/20 is ok when you get the right people.

I had a couple buddies who told me that have a card room at Riptides on Clarke and Trafalger.

They open tourneys for fundraising events but they supposedly have ring games going around the clock(till 2am).

I was told this a couple months ago mow so it could be total bunk but may be something you can look into.

They have their main bar and the poker is in separate room.

Best idea is probably to swing by for a drink and casually inquire the staff. I really should swing by myself but I'm unsure of stakes and really am not prepared for it.

If you anyone goes has gone, please give some extra info.

Hmm, never heard of a game at Riptides, but I wouldn't be shocked.

I would think once the fair starts, the "regulars" will I'm sure talk about where they play....I hope....We should get an FCP London drinking night together.
