what a shiit show on fcp

1st, i decided i'd play some of the 5200 classic qualifiers, a good way to get back into thngs, i've been takin lots of time off.

Not wanting to blow my BR on the 300+ stage 3's, i started today with stage 1.

1st one was SnG, did i mention i pwn at sng's? well anyways, its now HU, and blinds are ridiculous, and buddy can t play post flop., so i make a raise with KQ, he pushes, i know its a coinflip or i have him, he's trash and has been pushing preflop with everything.

he turns 4,4, and i lose after no help. Ok who cares.. 2nd place, not the end of the world.

now stage 1 MTT, top 4 get spots i am chip leader with a huge lead, 19 players left after 28 started, i have double 2nd places stack.

i find JJ UTG, i make a raise, button pushes with a semi short stack. blinds fold, and i feel forced to make the call., so i do, and he has KQ, oh but wait, he hits his King,

Then about 2 minutes later i find J,9 suited on the button, i make a raise on the button, and get two callers. (who limped) flop is 8,9 J i have top two.

checks to me and i bet out, SB raises, and mp folds. I then re-raise him for his stack which was just over double his raise., he calls shows QQ, board pairs 8's and my top two are no more good.

Then 3 hands later, i'm still in about 5th place with chips. i find KK, I make a raise of 5xBB, i get 2 callers.
flop is K,rag rag with 2 spades., 1st to act was BB who leads out for half pot. i smooth call., and lp calls.
turn is a rag, BB pushes all in. I am forced to insta call with the current nuts. LP folds and BB turns over a flush draw.
river brings another spade to give him the flush.

I'm now down to about 100.00 and just to top it all off, I get 5,2 and say whatever, lets put in my 100.00
theres a few limps, flop is J, 5,2 i have flopped 2 low pair. i might quad up.
some guy bet out big and everyone folds, Now i'm thinking even better, he flips AA, and catches runner runner flush just so i leave with an ever more sour taste in my mouth.

ya, I steamed real good after that. had to go for a drive and think about anything but poker.

Just felt great and refreshed ready to play solid poker, and i found No mistakes in my game, got my money in as huge favorites mulitple times, but never held.

Only pots i did win were the for sure ones that i can actually make river calls or bets knowing i'm ahead.

anyways, krup your magical words inspired me to continue with the qualifiers

I try man and believe me I know the feeling

They are a donkfest just be patient. I play them and just get so frustrated I basically surrender (as I simultaneously lose 2 buyins at $200 NL). Thats the way it goes sometimes.

Taking that fly ride out can always make one forget about poker. Go get ur seat champ.
