I play on pacific poker quite a bit and its definately my favorite. The play is really erratic, but has been profitable for me. Anyone else have any luck on this site?

I played some 2/4 and 3/6 7 stud there. Very loose callers. Made about 440 (including the 100 bonus) in about 4 days. I hated the fact that you could only play 1 table at a time though.
I withdrew my money on Friday and it still hasn't come through to Neteller. I read that their withdraw times are some of the longest. Just a heads up. : /

I've been playing there for a couple years now. There withdrawl time is painfully slow and can take up to a week in some cases. I find the omaha, omaha h/l, stud and stud h/l games to be quite weak. They just introduced some micro-no-limt hold'em which is pretty soft as well. I haven't had all that much luck with the MTT's (won a big one this summer and play them rather sporadically now). All in all I find it a decent site with good action. The one table at a time is kinda a pain, but I find my game goes down hill when I have to concentreate on more then one table, so maybe iot's a blessing after all...
My pacific poker name in Neilp82... give me a shout if we're ever at a table together...

Yes, I've been playing Pacific Poker for 7 months and it's been very profitable. After the time it took to get used to online play and adjust to my limit, I've done very well.
I think there are three reasons Pacific is easier than others and it all involves keeping good players out.
1) Due to the excess disconnections, many good players have left, leaving a lot of fish.
2) The one-table rule makes many good players who believe multi-tabling is more profitable leave.
3) The lower limits (especially with SnGs)--it's hard to find a game above $30--keeps good playesr out.

That is interesting that you bring up the disconnects. They seem to happen too frequently. That was one of the reasons i took a brief hiatus from the place .

I've had a few disconects, but I find the support staff to be pretty reasonable. I've had a few tournament (Sng's and MTT's) refunded due to disconects. Never had much of an issue at the cash games though.
P.S. Excuse the spelling, it's been a late night...

They gave me $10 to come check them out.. After about 30 minutes, I sat down at a NL table and just gave my money away. The place seems pretty barren compared to pokerstars and the 1 table max thing is really retarded. I spent a good 20 minutes trying to figure out how to get a 2nd table up, not knowing there was only 1 table max.. I really don't understand that, they can only be losing rake from this.
I agree with Bigkspec and he's probably right about good players leaving Pacific for those reasons. But I'm not sure it's anymore fishy than Stars or Party.

I am currently playing at Pacific (where my posts regarding getting busted with pocket kings and aces in MTT's takes place), and so far like it (but not the busted out part). Ive played 6 or 7 so far, doubling my initial deposit on 5, busting out on 2 ($100 deposit on each), and am currently sitting at $215 (from $100) on Pacific (Note that all of these include deposit bonus' that I was able to qualify for). Haven't completely qualified for all of my money on Pacific yet, but am closing in.
I would rank it 3rd out of the ones I've played (Pokestars is first, Pokerroom.com is second even though I don't think I've won a hand on that damn site). Pacific would be much better if they let you play on more than one table at a time (I like to play in multi's and a ring game at the same time, so I don't get bored).
Also, I have experienced countless disconnects on Pacific, for no apparant reason. They hurt a bunch, especially in Sit-N-Go's, when you lose a blind or two trying to get back in.

yeah i went from 150 to 3000 there in about a month cashed out 500 and since have lost about a grand. but i still love it there. the disconnections censoreding suck though. nothing like seeing pocket aces or kings in a 200 dollar buy in sng or cash game nd not being able to bet cause your censoreding screen is frozen.

I play there a little. I had a bad run after I cashed out some money and had an empty account, then I found $10 in there one day (I guess Pacific wanted me to keep playing) after about a month of inactivity. I lost most of that pretty quickly then with my last $2.50 decided to enter a tournmament and won a few hundred.
The software is reaaaaaaaaly sloooooooow compared to other sites, and there is that pesky one-table thing. But the games are so soft that you can't beat it. Its just a bunch of fish dumping their money to eachother. Definately a place to make some easy money.
