I don't think you played it badly. The bet on 5th street I would view as a bluff to get the other low draws to fold. A 7-5 isn't a bad low, but it's definitely vulnerable. Can't fault you for trying it. It didn't work, but that's poker.

You do have to worry at that point that you might be drawing to a worse low than the A-4. Especially on 6th where he caught good and you, sort of, caught bad. You went from a 7-5 to a 7-6, whereas he caught a baby. You're also drawing to maybe 5 outs for the high? A pair of aces might hold up, but more than likely you need a 4 or 8 to scoop. If you were going to get away from the hand at all, that would be the place to do it. I don't see a problem with calling it down, though. The guy caught his cards, it happens.

your biggest problem here is playing a semi-solid razz hand in Stud 8. You're looking for a hand with the possibility to scoop, not attempt to make a weak low to chop, or possibly get quartered.

on top of that, I'm seeing a lot of low cards out already (which is basically with a hand like this, what we're looking for) that we could use. I'm dumping this.

I don't think the call on 3rd is bad, but I don't think I would be putting in any money on 5th or 6th. Your chances for high are very thin and you're probably behind for low too. The pot is too small to be worth fighting for. Just check and fold.

If you did decide to play this hand (which I don't think you should on third with all those low cards out, as you chances to scoop are slim at best), I would check fourth street (which you did), and check/fold 5th street.

Like the others said this hand is poorly constructed so fold on 3rd. However, if there is no raising on 3rd and 5-6 people are seeing 4th I'd might try and catch an ace or other low card on 4th.
