I first thought fold but assuming you can isolate by pushing the other player out, this is a call.
1265 chips into a 3290 pot so you're getting 2.6-1
Assuming Villain has AK+, JJ+ which would be extremely conservative considering that villain's M is 8, you would be 33% to win and would need 2-1 pot odds to make the call.
You have no reads but I would go with the isolation play here - only thing is that this is a $4+$.40 so I'm not sure about the probability of the other player folding to your jam.
I would still jam though

fold or jam
I like jam.

I don't like 4x BB with 88 preflop.
Can you still limp at this stage?
Lots of big stacks ready to pay u off shall you hit a set.
Too many flops suck for us.
It's a personal thing, having the lead with 88 from that early pos is not comfortable for me.

I don't like that raise from EP with 88 given the stacks behind you.

gamble gamble. I push. We need to accumlate chips, and this isnt risking alot of our stack. If we lose, we arent crippled, and if we win, we have alot more ammo.

If we push and MP calls our push and wins, we are down to 995 chips..That cripples us indeed

No hand here called our raise, and is currently beating us.

Push. If MP3 calls it is likely a coinflip for a very big pot, but IMO he will probably fold.
Raise less with 88 in this situation, or don't raise at all.

I think its an easy push (to isolate). If MP3 calls, well, lets hope we dodge his probably two-overcards or spike an 8.
I like the raise pre-flop myself. Limping encourages multiple opponents and/or possibly a push behind us, making us most likely having to fold. By raising we will narrow the number of opponents, and even though we MAY be out of position, I think we can play fine on any flop with a continuation bet. The only thing I would be worried about is if a bigger stack pushed behind us, not the smaller stacks.

so what if someone pushes behind our limp.
We fold 150, big deal
I hope others come in.
The blinds are not significant enough to raise 4x BB from that early.
I limp to encourage other limpers
You say we can take it with a CB, well, if you're like me, you get gay bet here all the time by the SB/BB, or raise by LP player on flops with overs. Now we would have put in about 600 + 800 = 1400 on 8's.
