I'm sure the fact that ESPN is making a shyt-ton on these games finally has nothing to do with it, but I was very, very impressed to see that Espn AND Espn2 will be simultaneously broadcasting the games that are overlapping now. We will be able to flip back and forth between Italy-Czech Repub. and USA-Ghana. That's a really big step for American TV.

Also, the MatchTracker that FIFA/Yahoo do for the games is by far the most comprehensive and quality I've ever seen on the net. It integrates graphics, stats, goalscorers, a chat, and general info all-in-one. Very nice if you can't get away from the desk.

fifa has been overlapping the games since after 82 and espn/turner networks(tnt and tbs) has been showing them like that for the same length of time

I still dont like the quality of the picture on ESPN, the announcers are horrible and there is too much crap on the screen. So i watch the games on Univision. I know its in Spanish and i only catch 30-40% of what they are saying but they are sure exciting to listen to.

The only reason I would watch a soocer match in a language other than english would be to hear
