Hi,

This question has probably been asked a few times but I'm wondering

a) What an acceptable bankroll is for these? At the moment I'm 4 tabling the $6 pokerstars tournament but was to move up to the $16s. I currently have $700.

cool.gif How many you have to play until your sample size gives you an accurate return on investment %. I've played 100 and have a very healthly ROI of 29%

Cheers in advance for any help.

Sounds like plenty to me. I don't play these but I don't see the skill level improving much between these levels. Some people recommend pretty conservative BR requirements for SNGs but I can't imagine ever needing more than 30 buy-ins.

A lot more than 100 if you want to narrow in on your ROI. Though 100 is probably enough to give you a good idea of winning player vs losing player.

Interesting question and one I'm thinking about too, since I play those turbos on a similar bank roll. I prefer to have a higher bankroll for turbos than normal sngs, since the variance seems a lot worse so far, and I would ideally have about 50 buy ins. What I'm doing is multi-tabling and having one $15 and the rest $6, with the aim of building up from there.

your ROI is a moving target.

look at it in 20 - 50 - 100 - 1000 game sets, and hopefully it's trending upward, for the most part.

I play $22's with $1300
But I also played them with $300

I"m not a good one to ask.
