Poker Stars $20 180 sit & go

2nd hand in I am dealt K icon_suit_heart.gif K icon_suit_club.gif in early position and make it 60 to go, 2 callers.

Flop is K icon_suit_spade.gif s5 icon_suit_diamond.gif 3 icon_suit_diamond.gif

I bet out half the pot 100. Get one caller

Turn 8 icon_suit_heart.gif

I bet the pot which is just over 400 my caller stays in

River Q icon_suit_diamond.gif

I check he bets out 200. I call and get to see 10 icon_suit_diamond.gif 9 icon_suit_diamond.gif

Questions

1. Should I have bet more on the flop ?
2. Should I have bet more on the turn ?
3. Should I have paid him off on the end ?

With the advantage of hindsight the answers are easy. At every stage until the river I am a big favorite when should I have jammed it just to pick up the pot ?

thanks

I play it the same way.

Edit: meh. I actually might lead river for 300ish and fold to raise.

Can't argue with how you played it. He made mistakes on the flop and turn by calling your bet and that is what you want. Only thing I might have done differently is with 2 players in after the flop is bet just a little more, maybe 3/4 of the pot (1 player, I probably bet half). All in all, played pretty well.

Don't post results

Raise to 80 or 100 pre flop

Bet 2/3 of the pot on the flop

3/4ish pot on turn...

And if hes still around after that...

I honestly don't know what to do...I would c/c or bet again, but if he raises, I don't think I could get away from it

you going from 400 into a pot of 400
to 300 into a pot of 1200

I raise you if I missed my staright draw, that bet smells like your scared of the flush

I like the hand, getting 7-1 no way you cand fold the river

Meh. I don't think so. It's the second hand of the tourney, they only started with 1500 chips, it is very tough to just push on the river with nothing. What possible hand could you have that you would be pushing with that river? I think you are saying 46? If Villain is in the hand with 46 those chips will be mine eventually, Villain will probably also show this ridiculous bluff and I can note it.

I think with 300 you are getting called by KQ, KJ, 53. The only hand that I think someone would push over the top here is QQ but Villain shows no signs of having QQ. I don't want me checking and Villain betting pot here.

The bluff on river of the second hand of tourney because you think there might be weakness from a smallish bet instead of it being for value is too suicidal. The chances that Hero will call your all in bluff are too high, seeing as he has now risked more than 50% of his chips how can bluffer possibly think that Hero lays this down enough of the time to make it profitable?

It also smells like a trap...like you're begging to be called or raised.
