That was one of the best international games i have seen in a long time.

Sure the technique and structure and even finishing was not what we expect from modern football, but that was more than made up for by the pace, energy, hard work and commitment from Ghana. I REALLY hope they make it into the next round.

Petr Cech was the only person from the Czech Republic who can walk off the field with his head held high.

I missed the very end of the game, but looking at the picture on ESPN.com is that an Israeli flag they are holding up?

one of them pulled it out of his sock..

either he is half half or it could be a political statement.

But then if it was a political statement i think their is alot to be said about africa without steping into Israel

Maybe he plays in Isreal? Maybe he's jewish? Hall of famer Rod Carew was jewish, after all ( He converted).

I don't. Because that would mean they beat the US.

I saw the result when I got home from work a little bit ago, and will definitely have to catch this when it reairs tonight (assuming they show it and not just Italy/U.S. again)
