What do you guys think of this lineup? Where is Gus Hansen (denmark)? How about Freddy Deeb (I guess he may be from Lebanon as well, so they had to choose between him and Farha)? It looks like they are mainly trying to get the most "colorful" players (Tony G, Devilfish) rather than the best ones. On that note I'm surprised Scotty Nguyen is not representing Vietnam.

is Marco Traniello really the best Italy has to offer? Not saying he's a bad player, but he hasnt been playing that long if I'm not mistaken. He's best known for being Jennfer Harmen's husband, not for his own results right?
and why is Doyle so special that he gets his last name listed first?

He cashed more times in the last WSOP than Daniel and Jennifer combined if i'm not mistaken.

Anyone want to make some bets on who wins?

It's a really solid field. You can certainly debate the USA slot (Ivey?) but Doyle getting it is kind of like Cal Ripken winning the All Star balloting every year at the end of his career in that maybe he wasn't actually the best but nobody would say he doesn't deserve it.
And I would have gone with Hachem with the Aussie spot, just out of respect for being the reigning Main Event champ.

I would've also picked Martin DeKnijf for Sweden.
