Ok... now ive been playing online poker for quite some time now and i'd like to think my game is improving, however, the results seem dire...at best. I'm not sure how many of these questions u answer a day but this one has been plaguing me for quite some time now and would prove to greatly improve my dwindling game. Alot of people these days are adding to the growing number of online players, and its great...sometimes. The problem i have been having is going in with the best of it but coming out with less chips and less money...
This may seem to be just random bad luck, with a closer look though i feel its something more. Online players seem to have built in to them the ability to find that all in button a little too well. I have been trying to play aggressive with caution however when i have a strong feeling that im the favorite in the hand is it wrong to fold? Most cases I am ahead but end up losing. I mean for example, a hand like J J with a flop of 8 7 2... u raised preflop got one caller...bet on the flop and his immediate reaction is all in... u assume immediately top pair or straight draw... does it depend on your chip stack whether u call or not? or is it auto call? I find too often players will all in with mid pair, bottom pair, pocket pair, suited cards...and no draw hoping u will fold.... is it wrong to make a call with top pair ace kicker putting the guy on over cards? What is the protocol...
I also find it VERY difficult to get away from a bb or sb hand when its only bb or sb in the hand.... any tips for this situation?
thanks for your time
