Do you think this was a correct call giving Spain the PK? (The Red card doesn't matter because if it was a foul, it was a red)

I think there was contact, but I do not believe it was enough to call a foul. When watching the replay, you could see that He shot and than fell. Poor call IMO by the ref.

I think he fell attempting to kick the ball, or atleast was so off balance it caused the fall. I dont think their was any contact before the kick.

No, he was having his shirt tugged outside of the box. He then went down once in the box. Never a penalty.

Tough spot for the referee. If the player goes down during the tug, the call is correct. The situation has to be judged on whether the tug affected the shot. I think the dive by the Spanish attacker was a bit late to have gotten a call from me.

There have a been more than a few questionable calls by the refs in the WC, but since they are only human it's expected. Haven't seen any calls really for diving or acting...
