Anyone know where I can get a live webcast feed of this?

I'm in the USA so the BBC won't work for me.

Thanks!

I haven't found one. I just watch the Matchcast through yahoo which now seems to be down...again. Not missing anything anyway as USA didn't show up as expected (at least by me anyway).

Wow, not only did they not show up, but they appeared to give up in the second half. Does anyone agree with me that Eddie Johnson has to be on the field in the first half? Also, Convey & Beasley were awful today.

:raises hand:

The US just flat out sucked. They need to pull it together for their match against Italy which they MUST win. If they lose or tie, it's pretty much all over. They would need to beat Ghana by at least 2, and have Italy lose by at least 3 to the Czech Republic (I think).

USA cant lose again to have a shot...they could still tie and win and advance as they did the year before but yeah todays game was disgusting...definately not the team that showed up in qualifying nor the team that was here 4 years ago...major disappiontment

eddie johnson was the only player that showed up. That game was a massive disgrace and the US is pretty much screwed now. If they play anything like this, I don't see them even getting a result

Sure they did not look good but remember who they were playing against. You have to look at the competition also. Looking at how Ghana and Italy played today, the US will have to beat Italy on Saturday then Ghana to advance.

Italy and Czech republic will probably tie and the Czech will probably beat Ghana.

I wasn't at all expecting us to beat the Czechs, but, I also wasn't expecting us to get completely thrashed ya know. I was more expecting a 1-0 or 2-1 victory for the czechs, not 3-0

Can we give a little love to the czecks, who looked great. THis wasn't just all USA sucking, the Czech squad are for real. I'm picking them to go to the final 4.

Not very likely, since Koller is probably out the rest of the tourney.

Top 4 :

Brazil
Argentina
France
Germany

I am excited to see the french and brazilian team tomorrow see if they are really for real.

I wouldn't bank on France now after Cisse breaking his other leg, Sidney Govou just does absolutely nothing for me and with Coupet pouting left and right and Barthez's form not exactly being all that great over the past couple of years, well, I can see France in the quarters, but no further. As far as Germany, if their defense is getting opened up like a cheap can against Costa Rica, what is going to happen when they go up against a Top tier team. I'd be very willing to bet that if Holland gets a good draw for the second round and quarters, they're as good as gold for the finals, and don't sleep on england this year at all

The unfortunate problem the US side has is the pressure of expectation from home and the expectation that they will get through the group phase. Don’t get me wrong, they have a decent record in the world cup but I think a lot of that can be attributed to luck, which by the way is essential for a world cup. Their high fifa ranking is a misconception due to the fact they play in a weak region and mainly against weak competition. What they lack is any real world class players, they are all fast, hard working and conditioned but they have no player that strikes fear into the opposition and can turn a game on its head. For example the Ivory Cost suck but at lest they have Drogba, the same applies for Ukraine and Shevchenko.

Having said that the Czech Republic are just too damn good and they have a midfield that makes you take pause. Players like Nedved ensure control through the midfield and Petr Cech can keep control of his backline. I don’t think their was ever going to be a different result for this game.

I had 2 bets on, 3-0 Czech and 4-0 Czech (the 4-0 was a personal bet.)

I do wish good luck to the US for beating Italy but Italy just have too good of a backline for the US to score more than 1 goal imo, and with all the creative options that Italy have up front it will be an uphill battle.

On top of all that here are my opinions on other comments:

I like England as a side (I lived their for the last world cup as well) but they really need to pick up if they plan to take the cup. They were very lucky to get through that with the points after how they played. This is England’s best side in 20 years though, so they had better perform or that will be one unhappy country.

I didn’t see the Germany game but don’t ever count the German side out, there was nothing special about their 2002 side but they made the finals. In short Germany are always good, because that’s what being German is about, reliability and efficiency.

The slogan in the commercials are right, one game does change everything. USA goes from being excited about our best team ever, to wondering if Donovan can ever score a goal.

Soccer is the ****!

I'm so glad I have off tommorrow so I can actually watch games.

As for the U.S....they might as well fly home tommorrow. They are DONE.
