UTG, CO Limp, SB completes, I check in BB w/ j7o.

Pot (40)
flop j icon_suit_club.gif 7 icon_suit_diamond.gif 6 icon_suit_diamond.gif
Checks to CO who fires $40. SB folds, I reraise to $120 thinking the hands over. UTG reraises to $360. (Where the hell did you come from?), CO folds.
(Read on UTG. Middle Aged guy who was getting kicked around a bit and was getting sort of pissed off. He tried to slowplay KK against a tptk hand and got rivered when the tp paired on the river about 3 orbits ago. He was generally str8 forward post flop besides that hand.. aka, bet w/ strong hands and strong draws) Only other thought in the hand is that this was very shortly after my ak hand.

I reraised to $750. He pushes for $1,250 on top. I call.

Villian has AJd?

Villian could limp w/ 66 and 77 as well as 89 icon_suit_diamond.gif as well as AJ icon_suit_diamond.gif we are pretty much behind every hand here and a coinflip to AJ icon_suit_diamond.gif .

I mean honestly what other hands would villian reraise and push with.

I dunno I like ur flop raise of initial better but what can you possibly put UTG on here that hes reraising you with. I understand hes pissed but still is he really gonna call of his entire stack w/ AJ or JK no diamonds.

I know right? What the hell? I think I have to call the all in getting a decent price. Raising him again is where I'm a little lost. I'm not sure if it's right to let him take control of the hand or not?

These stakes are just to crazy for me to give any useful insight. I have no experience with these limits. Coming over the top for $2K total I just dont have any insight into this craziness.

But I have to believe I am toast or a coinflip and this makes me wanna chuck it and fight another day.

I'd like to hear Jordon, screech, Cobalt, etc. on this.

scott, is there a reason you play much higher live than online? cause you can pick up physical tells? slower action?

as for this hand, wow...i'd probably dump to the UTG c/r. Smells like set of 6s or 7s, I can't see him making this play with an oesfd, he'd push all in with that probably right away.

Smells like trips but could be an OESFD too from someone tilting a bit and now he can't get away from it

I usually played 1/2 live in the past w/ my college friends.... now that we all make good money we play 2/5 most of the time just for the gamblin aspect of it. I normally play 1/2 online now, but am just putzing around building a roll on FCP right now so I'm at 100nl. I jumped to 5/10 yesterday because I had a big cash the night before in a tourney and figured what the hell. Besides that... live players are just generally horrendous. 5/10 played higher than 1/2 online, but I would def say 2/5 doesn't play higher than 1/2 online.

part of this decision is gut, but I thought it was interesting, because it was one of those... what the hell could he have type hands. as for folding to 66.. eh.... if I had 66 on this board and the action went this way what would everybody be saying?

Edit: Jordan, how much crazy aggression are you seeing at 3/6 online which I would think would play close or above 5/10 live? (weekends atleast) About 3 hours before this I had seen a hand move similiar to this and some one got caught on a complete air bluff.

Villian has JJ?

Any chance Villain wants to limp-raise a big pair preflop and is now furious no one raised behind him? I imagine he leads this flop in that situation, but maybe his anger leads him to get 'creative' here with a big pair?

I hit a 7 on the turn, he hits an ace on the river and jumps up and down cause he thought he had one the pot.

I didn't turn my hand over at first... he read me for a bare jack. (I didn't slow roll... he just kinda pound his cards on the table cause he thought he caught one of his outs.)
