He's actually on the button and you're in the sb. Don't think you really have position to call a 3x bb raise with a 68os. Gotta just give up your sb for 75 and move on. But yeah, strange call by him post-flop.

They are just nuts, playing two card bingo.
Last night I raised in with QQ, bet every chance I got, got called down with K2...but, it was sooted. Butthead hit the flush on the river.
I'm almost done playing online...it's impossible. I think I have about twenty bucks left, no more deposits for me.

Yes, against a guy who will give away 100bb with mid pair on a coordinated board the call is horrible.
Riiiighhhhhhtttt.....

yes! the call was horrible... if we knew this kind of info on the player before the hand, then it makes it even worse, but i doubt we did. If we know this about the player, than why not wait for a better spot and double up easily? With your thinking... we should call every raise he makes with any two cards... that would be silly
the preflop call was still horrible
bad luck though

Almost 97% to win when all the money went in - you were "Danny Nguyen'd" unfortunately.
I don't mind the call preflop - you have a deep stack and can get a little creative.
I was thinking that you were still in the rebuy period but 75/150 is right after the rebuy if I remember correctly, so that made villain's play even worse.
These kind of hands can really put you on tilt if you're not careful - it's a good test of your character. You play enough, you'll run into these hands but also put this beat on your opponents every so often.

Im not sure how you guys play .... but calling a raise out of position with 6 8 offsuit is not something i like to do. I think that is a little too "creative" for me

If we knew the grass was green, it would most likely be blue.

I have a better idea! Why don't we wait for AA, KK, and AK and go all in!
With your thinking... we should call every raise he makes with any two cards... that would be silly
Of course! Because every situation is exactly the same!
the preflop call was still horrible
Mooooooooo.

Pre-flop, he's in cheap b/c of SB. Guy flops the nut str8 and buddy calls him down with middle pair? Very unlucky. And for those of you who don't like him calling pre-flop to see the next 3 cards, I guess you don't know what gambling is. Lemmings, the cliff is that way!
OP, you got unlucky there, but imo it's a push on any street. there's no way you should think the retard has a 5. I'm betting he thinks he's a ****ing genius for calling you down.

He didn't " call me down ".......he re-rasied my flop raise.......and i put him all in for 10k........and he went into the tank for 2 min before calling... then proceeded to hit a 5... then pair the board.....
it's the next morning, and it's still all i can think about.....
that and if ill ever get my seat to the main event.
but thanks for understanding the preflop call...
i called pre flop with full intention on making a play on him if felt the flop missed him......which obv turned out to be one of the most ridiculous beats ive taken......

OK, no call down. I still don't understand why people are down on your SB call to see a flop (youhave the stack for it). Then, when you put him all-in with the nuts, it's the right play to make. Very unlucky to get drawn out on, but it happens. It's still a winning play most of the time.
