matt has previously been in a hand with me and gomps. i was leading without showing much strength, he hit a flush on 6th and flat called. gomps called the whole way with insignificant holdings.

fantastic card for me and i have momentum. i actually bet before i saw matts diamond, so this caught me off gaurd. sloppy on my part. im not sure what to make of this. first thought is made flush, and hes making me pay to continue. 2nd thought is 4 flush and he wants to back me off. i dont know if he'd raise there just for information.

theres no way im getting out of this one, even if his has a made flush. im not that good. am i undervaluing my 3 queens, figuring they wont win without improving?

i count 20 cards out, 32 left, 8 that help me. my odds are 3 to 1 i think. ovbious i should continue, right? ps i counted afterwards to double check. during the hand i just assume.

should i value bet the end? gomps could bet/raise with 3 of a kind or better, but will call with nearly anything else. if matt is on a draw, i dont see him calling a bet with anything less than aces up. i would put that as an unlikely hand for him.

the results really surprised me. i wasnt looking for a hand like that at all, so his actual cards dont figure into the discussion. just dumb luck on my part to win i suppose.

i got stumped in the middle here. pretty sure flat calling is the worst way to play it out. if you put him on a made flush, what do you do? if you put him on a flush draw, then what? im mostly interested in what do with withouth making a full house.

I might have re-raised on third, to try to get it heads-up. With a five dead, the five raising it doesn't scare me much.

Usually I wouldn't raise the K rather I would fold because he is representing a pair of K's. But seeing here that one player cold called two bets and the other continued with ( 7 7 ) 6 A, I agree with the raise against these players. On a full tilt table perry re-raised a bet with split 9-9 on fourth even in the face of a whole bunch of face cards.

On other streets I think you played the hand right. Your actually pretty unlucky that he didn't bet the three 7's because most people would hope to get called by Q's up.

Matts call on 4th was pretty bad. I think a flush draw is the only reasonable hand he can cold call two bets there. He could have started with a hand like ( 6 A ) 6 but most players would lead out with 2 pair made already.

yeah, i think the check on 7th is good. There is no point in betting there into a player with the propensity to raise you if you're beat. That's a waste of a BB.
