So i just tried Stacked for the first time today, and boy was i disapointed. First the AI is absolutely retarded at all levels of game, and i noone with a lot poker experience could ever say this AI is anything else.
Some examples from my very short experience of stupid plays the computer made.
5/10NL Hard computer setting
Computer A in CO have AdAh
Computer B in BB have Td3s
I have Js9x on button
preflopp A limps i limp BB checks
flopp is KsQs9s
B checks
A bets 20
I raise to 70 BB both calls
turn is Th
B now bets 80 A calls
I call
river is 4c
Bcheck A check
i bett 300 both calls!?!?
I could go on writing down almost every hand they play, but the conclusion is that the computer doesnt ever seem to be able to bet more than half pot postflopp, never raises preflopp and so on.
If this is how ure opponents play in the biggame Daniel im not supprised ure up over 1M$ thats for sure "haha"
Also if ANYONE plays acording to the "advice" button i can asure u that u will go broke realy realy soon. I got the advice to defend my blind against UTG raise with 62o, then RAISE 95o in MP and then CALL a reraise, when the computer for once decide to raise preflopp, and then to "definately call" the CB on flopp AQ5 i mean cmon is this ure million $ strategy?
Also the bettingsystem is absolutely worthless, it is impossible bet the amount u actually wants to bet. Tthere are 100s of pokersites out there and they all have working betting systems, so i dont se why they have to complicate things like this.
Conclusion: I didnt expect to be very amused by a pokergame, since i play poker on a daily basis, but this is just a crapy game regardless of what skill level your at. And im truly dissapointed that you promote this game. I have realy lost a lot of confidence in you after playing this game, i realy belived that u where a str8 up guy and a true philantrope, but i guess ure only intresst in life is money like the rest of us =(

look at his joined date, that should tell you everything right there
I have only seen one odd play on Stacked since I got and that was the first hand I played where I saw the UTG raise all in with QJs and was called by CO-2 by A9o. Other than that I haven't seen anything weird with the AI of the game. It's definitely tougher than the other poker games out on the market.

Well thats like saying "Stacked is the smartest kid in a class of retards"
Have u ever played real poker when u make a comment like that?
Why would my join date tell you anything? Ive played a lot of poker for about 2 years now, and im telling u the stacked AI is not even close to any real deal ive ever played against.

The join date would tell us it's very likely you joined this forum solely to flame Stacked.

Yea, and it should tell you that it realy do suck since i took my time to registrate and post my complaints. I dont see the reason why you attack my persona instead of defending the game, IF u actually like it.

Why would anyone pay real money to play a fake poker game? I play a lot of video games but poker would never be one of them. The way I see it, net poker is a poker video game itself. I would rather play a 5$ game on the net that means nothing (where at least i can win 25$) for fun(even if i lose), rather than pay 50$ to play poker for fun and have no financial return. Great game for the kiddies though that can't get into the casinos yet!!!! Instead of buying Stacked for 50 bucks i think I will go buy a bag of ultra greens!!!!

I wasn't attacking you. I was answering your question. I don't really care either way.

I got a quesiton, what personalities were you playing. I believe there are four poker personalities in the game (amateur, pro, maniac, can't remember the 4th, something like a trickster).
The amateurs will play very badly (typically calling on any pair or going all in on A high if they are down somewhat in chips). As the opponents dwindle in the tourney you will be playing better AI.
I also got to say, using the mousewheel helps when betting.
Now there is room for improvments with the next interation in stacked (I wish the game would slow down on all ins so I can figure out what occured), AI wise I would say its pretty good.
