Just flipping through the pages of the latest ish of Maxim whilst high atop my porcelain throne, I came across (not Penthouse so stop) the list of summer movies...
Talladega Nights-Will Farrell and John C. Reilly, directed by Adam McKay. Anchorman is all I have to say.
Pirates 2-I'm in.
Miami Vice-how can you not?
WTC-let the controversy... continue.
Clerks 2-Ben Affleck needed something to do and so do you.
A Scanner Darkly-Keanu does Blade Runner.
Snakes On A Plane-really?! Can Samuel L. save this? 'Cause The Man bombed.
Any thoughts on the new Superman?
And a new DVD, The Dudesons. The Finnish equivalent of Jackass, which apparently makes Bam look meek. Might be worthy of 100 minutes of my time...
If you have the mag, there's a good list of gore flicks from the director of Hostel too...
They claim The Simpsons Movie is slated for 2007 as well...
G'nite all...

I believe Benny Boy just has a cameo, which only increases the odds I'll see this movie.

Miami Vice is being directed by Michael Mann, which basically means it is guaranteed to be the best movie of the summer. I can't wait to see it, and I hate Colin Ferrell and I have NEVER seen an episode of the TV show. Michael Mann is just that good...
Just a glimpse into the awesomness that is.... Michael Mann:
Manhunter
Last of the Mohicans
Heat
The Insider

Everyone said Manhunter was great, so I watched it. It was hard to get past the cheesy 80's music though. I guess it was good.
Last of the Mohicans and Heat mostly bored me.
The Insider was an excellent movie.
Ali was just OK.
I enjoyed Collateral. Except the part with the coyote; that was weird.

I passed out from confusion when I read this sentence....
W!?!? T!?!?! F!?!?!? seriously... wow. Both were totally awesome...
And FYI, the coyote scene is good for two reasons... 1) It actually happened to M. Mann and some friends in the middle of LA, he talks about it in the bonus stuff... and 2) Audioslave's '' Shadow of the Sun" plays in it's near entirety during that scene... which is totally sweet.

on a side note... go into the restricted site. I don't think I've seen a cooler website. Someone should start a thread about cool websites and programming.
The backgrounds move. Find the background of the city of Miami and every so often there is thunder and lightning..... very awesome.
