I drafted Cliff Lee pretty early in my league, in hopes that he would be a stud just like last year. Well...anyone who's seen him pitch lately would know that he's well...just not all there. However, I'm finding it tough to give up on a pitcher who was 14-8 and 18-5 the last two years.

Now, the question is, what is this guy worth? Free agents in my league include Wakefield, Maddux, Livan Hernandez, Ted Lilly, Josh Towers (j/k) and many others in mid-tier range. And if I do decide to trade him, I'm really unsure as to what is worth it because well to be honest the offers arent coming in droves.

So Trade, dump to FA, or keep him and stick with it?

Wakefield went 8 shutout innings the other night.

I have Cliff Lee on my team but he's been on the bench for awhile.

He runs hot & cold so if you have room on your bench, I'd keep him there to see if he rounds back into form.

He's on my team as well. I have decent pitching, so I can aford to keep him. I think he will come around.

Well I've been using my bench already to wait for one struggling Pitcher. (Felix Hernandez). I'm not a baseball expert and I don't see Cleveland games, so I'm unsure as to whether this guy was a) just a 2 year fluke or cool.gif Just in a monthlong slump. Someone told me that I shouldn't worry about Lee because he played the White Sox last night...but it hasn't just been them. His Wins haven't been lights out, as the offense carried him to wins. I'm more curious as to whether he really is a good pitcher and will get back to form, or if he is a Jon Garland type fluke.

Similar question: dump Doug Davis?

He hasn't been striking anyone out this year. He hasn't been good this year. I'm worried.

And I'd stash Cliff Lee on the bench unless there was someone on the waiver wire I was dying to pick up.

I would keep Cliff Lee but he might struggle for a while.. If you can get Johnson on Florida I would do that.
