winning team: Team Arenas

losing team: Bayside

winning player: Gilbertology

losing player: GoStags92

time of match: 18 minutes

My first win of the season, and a tough game. Stags played in alot of hands and was very aggressive. I made a good call with pocket nines because he had been playing so aggressive(or getting cards) picking up most of the small pots and betting a lot. I also made one nice bluff in a key pot.

I was a bit behind when this hand came up

I admit this was a suckout on the river and got lucky to win.

Stags kept on picking up small and medium sized pots and took the lead when the following hand took place. I had 69 and bluffed on the river when my str8 draw missed:

Took me a long time to call that river, I put him on 79 or a busted flush and it turned out he had a pair and straight draw on the turn that didnt come through. My reason for the call on the river was just instinct I guess.
After this hand I had a nice lead. The final hand I had about 2550 and raised with 10K suited on the button and he put me all-in with AQ, and I called with pot odds. I was behind 59/41 prefop but I hit a King on the turn and got my first HU victory!

mistyped a couple hands before and had to edit
Oh, and cheap thieves gonna have a two game losing streak after next week.

Doh! I KNEW you were bluffing that pot. I'll admit that I played that hand very weak, and you deserved to win it...I had middle pair too. You played well, and that call with the pocket 9's was a good one. I have to admit that I was a bit miffed when that board paired to make your 2 pair with 8's. wink.gif
