Utg seems to be pretty good (hence the stack of 14 x the buy-in). he's been raising a lot pre-flop and making continuation bets quite frequently.
Co doesn't look like he has a clue.

Poker Room skin
Pot Limit Omaha Ring game
Blinds: $0.25/$0.25
5 players
Converter

Stacks
Utg has $350
Co has $12
Hero has $25

Pre-flop: (5 players) amarillofcp is SB with K icon_suit_spade.gif 4 icon_suit_spade.gif 4 icon_suit_heart.gif 9 icon_suit_spade.gif
UTG raises to $1, CO calls, Button calls, amarillofcp calls, BB calls.

Flop: J icon_suit_club.gif 3 icon_suit_diamond.gif 4 icon_suit_club.gif ($5, 5 players)
amarillofcp checks, BB checks, UTG bets $5, CO calls, Button folds, amarillofcp raises all-in $22.....

would a better line be to call and lead a non-club turn?

fold preflop. PO ZI SHUN! (most important thing to remember in PLO)

as is, tough spot. i dont hate the c/r but the problem is the price the draws will be getting 17/37 (i think). big stack FD will certainly call.

conversely you could lead for a pot sized bet but, big stack with a FD is stil prolly going to call.

i dont think there's a clear cut way to play this flop

I never thought I'd say this, but fold preflop. I'm playing this hand from the button every day, but not the sb. Check-raising this flop is fine. However, I would probablly check-call and wait for a safe turn in this situation.

Honestly I would switch tables. That guy has you massively outstacked, and while that's sometimes a good thing (if the guy's loose and giving it away), you seem to think that he's a solid player. In this hand I'm assuming he called you, while a player with a similar stack to yours might have folded.

I think you played the hand fine post-flop, but I think it's an easy fold pre-flop.

ok thanks guys. i normally fold this pre-flop but it was 5 handed and i was a little card dead so took a flop hoping to hit my little set. mistake understood.

on a side note, this is the 2nd time in 2 days that i've sat down and there is a guy at the table w/ 10x the buy-in. it seems that there are lots of drop-in holdem players in the low-limit PLO that truly don't understand the game.

lol, yeah i can see why.

the CO in this hand for instance all my all-in with TTXX, no draw or re-draws.

Yes I love it when hold 'em players sit down and have absolutely no clue. They will push with any AA in any situation preflop and will pot it again post-flop, often even on a flop like 567. Usually they bust in half an hour and don't rebuy.

To fold? You can go ahead and do that preflop.

good luck.
