I would lean towards folding preflop. Play on flop and turn looks fine. It's possible he's slowplaying the nut flush, but it's also possible that he's calling down with a lower flush or a set.

I'm playing JT97 for wrap potential, not for flush potential.

So do I.

W/ the button and no one acting before you pressing before you, I think the hand is fine.

thanks for the input guys.

i definitly wasn't playing the hand for flush potential. pre-flop, i fold to the raise if i was in early or middle position. in late position i call most reasonable raises if i've already limped.

my intial reaction on the flop was to fold if any one led out at it. since it was checked to me i thought there was a decent chance to take it down with a pot size bet.

i fold if i get re-raised.

i was also going to check the turn if anyone other than that pre-flop raiser called fearing that im being trapped.

when the pre-flop raiser called i figured him for a set or better but thought he would of led out with the nut flush.

i was weary of potting the turn but i was even more weary of giving a free draw to a boat. so i decided to pot it and put him all-in.

how is my thinking?

right now all my pre-flop and flop bets are pot sized.

I like it, top to bottom. My read would be him chasing you down with top set. Probably the only thing that just calls the flop. Maybe Q icon_suit_spade.gif x icon_suit_spade.gif , but I dunno.

Please tell me your kidding me. I think a raise is even better than a fold preflop. I'm a LAG in PLO, but I think even tightest players play this hand. There so many straight possibilities with the potential of a backdoor flush draw. I liked the way you played this hand.
