Hand #1: I would just call the flop bet as you have 11 pure outs (3 8's, 3 A's, 3 10's and 2 9's). Your heart draw might not be good and you could easily be behind to a flopped straight or a set.

Hand #2: Looks fine - I raise there with the nut flush draw/2nd nut flush draw plus you could take it down right there.

I would probablly play both hands the same. However, there's nothing wrong with just calling the flop with the first hand.

i think this converter works for PLO

Yeah, that's tight. In fact, if I'm in the cutoff I'm raising.

Hand 1 I would fold pre-flop. As you played it, I would probably just call the flop, afraid that my opponent would re-pot it with the made straight.

Hand 2 looks good.

I can't believe all the people who are saying fold preflop. I'd raise it before I'd fold it. It's got a dangler, but it's double suited and has a lot of possibilities.

hand1: Why are we worried about him repotting it w/ the made str8? As long as he doesn't have a better flush draw to go w/ it, we're crushing a made str8 right now. even if he's sharing kq w/ us we're ahead. I'm only worried about a heart draw not being good. which will usually put as at about 2:1 dog. (Worst case is something like 20:1 though).
I think most of the time we're atleast 50/50 or crushing him if he's god a made str8. I really like post flop w/ hand 1. i hope he's god something like a made str8.

As a tangent, could anyone of you fold a hand like 8h 9h jd qd in the villian's position?

Hand 2: looks good to me.

What called you on hand 1? It'd be scared at that point that my hearts were dead.
